Our breakdown services
Roadside
This is the minimum level of cover and provides roadside assistance in the UK, 24 hours a day, every day of the year.
Relay
National recovery to a UK mainland destination of your choice (for you, your vehicle and up to 7 passengers), if we can't fix your car at the roadside or arrange a prompt local repair.
Home Start
One in four breakdowns happen at or near home, and Home Start provides assistance in these situations.
Stay Mobile
If you've broken down and we can't arrange a prompt local repair, Stay Mobile provides alternative travel arrangements.
Breakdown Repair Cover
Helps cover costs for replacement parts and garage labour up to £500 (including VAT; less £25 excess) following a breakdown attended by the AA.

Price shown applies when purchasing online. The online discount for all Personal cover breakdown options is 25% for single cover, 20% for joint cover and 15% for family cover. For Vehicle cover the online discounts are 35% for Roadside and 25% for Relay, Home Start and/or Stay Mobile. Breakdown Repair Cover is not included in this offer. This is available to new members only, who must join online and pay by a recurring transaction arrangement. It is available for the first 12 months of cover, thereafter the renewal price will be the standard price (at the time of renewal) for the chosen level of cover.
