Cancelling Your Car Insurance Policy
You may not need to cancel your policy, because we can offer you an alternative quotation.

You will have a right to cancel your policy and receive a refund for a period of 14 days from the date your cover begins or you receive your policy documentation, whichever is sooner (unless you have made a total loss claim). This refund will be subject to a charge for the period of cover you have received, plus our reasonable administration charges.
Beyond the above period, you will still be entitled to cancel your policy, however further terms and conditions will apply in these circumstances. Full details of the action you need to take and the conditions upon which this right applies are included within your Policy Document.
Cancellation will only be operative from the date of receipt of the Certificate of Insurance, stating the reasons for cancellation, by AA Insurance Services Ltd. Any refund will be subject to the scales agreed by AA Insurance Services Ltd and the Insurers, which are available upon request if you write to the following address.
