The AA has again received the accolade of Which? Recommended Provider in their 2023 breakdown survey and earned the highest score of the three Which? Recommended Providers.
The AA is the only third-party breakdown provider to have received Recommended Provider status for the last six years in the annual survey by consumer champion Which?
This is thanks to the AA’s steadfast ability to fix the majority of vehicles at the roadside, made possible by the scale of its own expert patrol force, the largest in the UK, reinforced by market-leading innovations and technology.
“It’s a great honour to be endorsed by Which? for the sixth year in a row. This is testament to our fantastic patrols and support colleagues, who work so hard to keep us safe on the road.”
The Which? report states: “Mechanics were highly commended by customers, scoring five stars for knowledge and capability.
It added that: “Staff on its customer service line also received the full five stars for courtesy and helpfulness.”
In the Manufacturer Cover review, breakdown cover is provided by the AA for nine out of a total of 14 providers, including the top three Which? Recommended Providers.
Jakob Pfaudler, AA Chief Executive Officer, said: “It’s a great honour to be endorsed by Which? for the sixth year in a row. This is testament to our fantastic patrols and support colleagues, who work so hard to keep us safe on the road.
“We would like to thank our customers who recommend our services and we are thrilled that our five-star Patrols and Customer Advisors have been recognised in the report by Which?. Our own data shows that we fix 84% of breakdowns at the roadside or at home.
“We are investing in our business; we are putting even more patrols on the road and expanding our capabilities to work on any vehicle whether electric, petrol, or diesel, so that we can consistently offer outstanding customer service for our growing membership base.”
