An increase in learner demand has prompted us to call for people to join the AA Driving School as driving instructors

An increase in learner demand has prompted us to call for people to join the AA Driving School as driving instructors. We have seen new pupil registrations increase this year by 5.1%*, with regional peaks of up to 127% (Salisbury). Overall, we estimate that an additional 300 new, fully-franchised, driving instructors would be supported by the increase in pupil demand seen in 2024. Whilst we are calling for instructors across the whole of the UK, the top 10 places most in need of new driving instructors are highlighted below.
