About the award
Introduced in 1992, this award is the AA’s ultimate accolade for hotels in the UK. It is awarded to hotels that are recognised as being outstanding examples in their particular market. From the small family-run hotel to the most ambitious commercial ventures, hotels of every size and style are potential winners.
Grove, Narberth, Pembrokeshire
Grove is an enchanting privately-owned luxury hotel set in the heart of the rolling Pembrokeshire countryside, with stunning views of the Preseli Hills. Over the last 10 years, owners Neil and Zoe Kedward have created a unique, intimate and romantic hotel, full of period features.
The main house has 14 fabulous rooms and suites to choose from, all individually designed. In addition, there are unique cottages in the grounds, all with lots of character. There’s a walled garden full of flowers to enjoys as well as vegetable gardens, meadows and mature trees.
There are two dining options, the relaxed Artisan Rooms and three-AA Rosette The Fernery, which has a new chef, Douglas Balish, who has plenty of experience at multi-Rosette establishments.
The Grove has been a true labour of love, where Neil and Zoe’s passion for both their business and people is palpable. Ongoing re-investment and recent new senior appointments will ensure this delightful hotel continues to evolve and become even stronger.
