"One of the great things about being an AA patrol is that the job can be full of surprises. Some call-outs that sound routine can in fact turn out to be anything but.
"For example, one hot summer's day I got called out to assist a young lady who was locked out of her car. It's a problem that I've had to deal with on a number of occasions, so I was expecting a fairly routine job.
"Imagine my surprise then, to find that the young lady I was coming to the rescue of was dressed only in a bikini.
"Apparently, she had stopped at the nearby lake and decided to go for a quick swim. After changing, she put her clothes in the car and tucked her key fob into her bikini. Naturally, when she came back from her swim the key was saturated and wouldn’t work. I don't know which of us was more embarrassed."
