"It was a lovely summer’s day when I got called out to fix the engine of what I at first assumed was some kind of kit car. It certainly wasn’t a make or model that I had come across before. And that meant that I could face a few problems when it came to fixing it.
"Anyway, the breakdown was in a seaside town called Broth, near Aberystwyth in mid Wales.
"So there I was driving along the promenade looking for this strange vehicle, which I couldn’t find anywhere. I was just about to call in and ask if I was on a wild goose chase when someone came up from the beach and flagged me down. It turned out to be the member who had called in and, yes, he was having trouble with his engine, but it was the outboard motor of his boat!
"Well, an engine is an engine, and as it turned out it simply had a flat battery. I had him sailing out to sea in no time."
