"A policyholder rang up with a routine enquiry about her AA motor insurance policy. It was pretty simple for me to answer her query, and the policyholder was grateful, saying she was happy with the service I’d provided. Great, I thought.
"Then she told me she wanted to thank me in a special way. I didn’t have to time to wonder what 'special way' she had in mind before she started reciting prayers for me. I was getting whispered invocations and so on, right there over the phone. Bless her!"
