"Once when I was called out to a customer, there wasn’t a car in sight.
"Then he pointed to a barn a few yards away and there was his regular form of transport – an old Ferguson tractor with a burst radiator. Well I like a challenge.
"Unusual? Maybe. But when you’ve attended a broken down mini-digger, you’re ready for anything.
"The way I see it, it’s what the customers think that’s important. They can be so grateful, even the missus has been sent flowers. When they see me coming down the road, it’s like they’ve found another friend. No other business does that."
