In July 2018, we sponsored Pride in London for the first time ever. Pride has enjoyed enormous support internally and across the UK, and we see it as just the start of a journey in supporting the UK’s LGBT+ community, championing inclusivity and equality for all, and celebrating the amazing diversity of our membership and workforce.
Our yellow vans are iconic in their own right – but some of them were given an extra special makeover for Pride 2018, celebrating the UK’s LGBT+ community.
Fleet Livery Solutions and 3M transformed 10 of our vans with a twist on Pride’s distinctive rainbow colours.
We drove a very different type of vehicle on Saturday 7 July. For the first time ever we took part in the Pride in London Parade, with over 30 members of staff hopping on board (or alongside) our float as it wound its way through central London.
The atmosphere was electric and we’re proud to have shown that, whoever you are, we’ll get you there.
We were the first to do road signs, so it was only right that our float for the 2018 Pride in London parade included our first Pride-themed ones. Our 'Prideway Code' reminded everyone attending of the rules of the Pride road – have fun and be yourself.
Our Pride team were on hand to give out badges so that people watching the parade could take a bit of the Prideway Code home with them. The team looked the part, too – with rainbows, face paint and glitter galore.
