Accessible ways to report a breakdown

  1. You can report a breakdown in minutes using The AA app. With our app you can share your exact location with us and track when help will arrive.

We want you to be able to access our services, whatever your communication needs. If you're unable to speak to us over the phone due to your circumstances or individual needs, you can turn on the 'Deaf or hard of hearing' option in the app's settings and we'll communicate with you by text when you report a breakdown. This includes live text updates so you can follow our progress.

  2. If you're unable to speak to us over the phone and don't have the AA app, you can text us to report a breakdown on: 07860 027 999

We're committed to removing barriers for all our customers. If there's anything we can do to make reporting a breakdown easier for you, please chat to us by selecting the chat icon on this page.
Ask to 'Speak to someone' and we can gather some details to put you through to a member of our team to discuss.
