One of the first modern models to be released by the manufacturer after an extended period of silence, the MG6 was a sign of MG's intent to find a way back into the modern market. A competent family hatchback, it is refined and comfortable, and while not quite being a match for its rivals, it is a positive sign for MG's future output. The TF is also a new addition, but rather than being entirely new like the MG6, it is an update of the MGF from 1999, and is a mid-engine, affordable and stylish roadster. MG may have gone through a long period of uncertainty, but now back to producing competent cars, they are working towards being a credible twenty-first century car manufacturer.
