The e38 is the model before the new, present style seven series. Arguably one of the best looking luxury saloon cars for years (take a look at the S class and Lexus) with comfort and effortless performance. Lots of spares both new and secondhand and servicing isnt bad if you avoid main dealers. Over all a seriously good car with lots of presence for little money - but, be quick good ones are starting to go up in price.

Lots of style, comfort and gadjets. But being 13 years old parts need replacing on a regular basis which can be expensive. Lovely to drive. 25mpg around town and up to 34mpg on motorway .....................not bad for a 4.4Ltr V8!

Brilliant car, much better looking than the new style. For an old car it has just about everything a new car can offer. Qyick, comfortable, pleasing to the eye, not a bad buy for 2 to 3 grand.
