The car is fabulous great condition. The garage owner was fantastic very helpful he made sure car was cleaned and re mot. Would recommend this garage.

A 1.6 VTR engine in such a small car is definitely nippy, it doesn't feel sluggish at all. However, the semi automatic gearbox does mean there is a delay from putting your foot down to actually getting moving. Setting off from junctions when moving can also be frustrating as the gears clunk until it decides which the best gear for setting off is. It's fine going from stopped, but if you crawl up and then set off it does seem to get confused. Plenty of room inside and 2 good sized seats in the rear. The boot is surprisingly accommodating, as it's so tall. I've managed to get a wheelchair in there, and masses of large shopping bags (on separate occasions). The engine vibrates a wee bit when idling, but i suspect that is a fault with my particular car that i need to have investigated rather than a train of all C2s. The semi automatic is a nice touch so you can shift up or down manually to overide the auto, which is particularly useful when going downhill as it keeps it in a low gear for ages to control the speed, but it revs so highly! All in all, a nice little car.

Overall the car is great though the lack of room in the back and absence of a boot (let's face it there isn't one really) draws back from the overall appeal. It also needn't be said but the reliability due to inconsistent power-steering faults create a rather frustrating drive when it doesn't work. Needless to say this is a known fault with the 2002-2009 c2's which people should be made aware of before purchase. The actual drive is great, good center of gravity so will handle corners like a dream, much faster than you first expect you'll find it really shoots off the mark. Suspension is a little stiff, I assume as it's meant as a "sportier" car though it isn't uncomfortable you will feel the road a lot more than in say a family car.

I bought this car brand new and have never considered replacing it. It is economical to run and suffers from few problems. It is nippy and easy to handle. Overall, a pleasure to own and drive!

I purchased this used car about six months ago with 18,800 miles on the odometer. To date I have not had any problems other than the gear stick gaiter bezel coming adrift, which was replaced under the dealers warranty. The performance is very good, as is the driving position and driver aids. It is well equipped and reasonably comfortable, although rear passenger space is quite limited as is luggage space. The fuel economy is reasonable for a 1600 cc engine, returning average 39 mpg and the oil usage is minimal after 3,000 miles. On the down side, it is a lot of plastic and I cannot stop the rear parcel shelf rattling. All in all for me it's a great little car.
