A comfortable car which is easy to drive with fair running costs

This car was an ex demo vehicle from a main dealer. I was surprised at the ease with which I was able to get used to the vehicle in terms of comfort and access. The performance is exactly what I wanted and is brisk enough when required, but comfort levels, at moderate speeds are not always good, especially where pot holes are concerned and it can become skittish over poor road surfaces. I find the brakes and steering are accurate in use requiring little manual strength in operation. The standards of equipment are all the I require it having SatNav and Bluetooth, both of which enhance safety and driver satisfaction. It is very economical and I always achieve 60mpg without difficulty, although when driven hard this drops to 56mpg. MY only issue is with the semi-automatic g/box, particularly 1st gear to 2nd and back down. There is a delay when dropping down and the delay is enough to catch the engine out so that there is no driving gear selected and one has to put on the brakes to get the g/box to select 1st gear, and this can cause the vehicle to jump forward when 1st is selected. I have been told this is normal for this type of box from Citreon. The everything electric philosophy is OK and works well for me.
