Good: It's small: You know those spaces left in car parks that are too narrow for anyone to park in? A Copen fits perfectly :) It's economical: It's about £35, at the moment, for me to fill the tank up with petrol. That lasts me about 2 weeks :) It's unique: You must not take it personally when pedestrians point and laugh as you drive by. It's a convertible: Who doesn't want one of those?! Bad: Limited boot space: with the roof up it's fine. With the roof down...take another car to the supermarket/on a mini-break. Bone-shaker: EVERY pothole and hump in the road is your enemy.

This is a fun, eye-catching car which is fun to drive & packs a punch despite its small engine. The spec is high & the overal quality of the vehicle is first class. What a shame it is no longer imported. O.K.so there is no boot space when the roof is down, but who cares!

The Daihatsu Copen is a brilliant little car. It's small and slow but has a lovely, smooth, turbocharged engine which is a joy to drive. It sticks to the road as if on rails and feels like it's doing 60 when it's doing 30. It puts a smile on my face every time I drive it
