I have a 2018 Ecosport which I purchased in 2021, it only had 4,400 miles on the clock. Previous owner hadn’t used it much due to the pandemic. Every year it’s failed it’s MOT and has cost a hell of a lot of money. I can’t understand it as I’ve had much older cars in the past and none have been like this. Just last week its third Mot and Service cost me £909, there was a fault with the flap on the heater, it had been sticking so that it’s self was £399 and it’s the second for this part. Failed its emissions two years ago, there was a faulty part which thankfully was done under warranty but this year it’s an amber warning as another part of the exhaust though ok for now, Will definately need replaced by next MOT at a further £400. Needless to say I’m getting rid of it before then. For years I had VW’s methinks I should have stayed with them.

The Ford Ecosport is my first car.So far so good.Used to have a problem with the accelation as it seemed slow.Learnt to drive it smoothly.Gives me so much comfort.Very reliable car to drive. The fuel economy used to be an issue as well.Jst being gentle on the accelerator helps.Otherwise a really great car especially if you are looking for a Small Size SUV at an affordable price.

Comfortable car with good performance but running cost slightly on high side. Fault with handbrake due to poor quality material used in manufacture.

Very comfortable and roomy car. The engine consistently wins awards for its efficiency. For such a small engine it has a quick acceleration and can hold its own against more powerful engines.
