In my view, after test driving cooper petrol, similar price, the diesel engine is first class, and better than the cooper petrol, which is why I chose the one D. I would recommend the car to anyone for the engine and the car's road holding. The engine is quick enough, good acceleration, economical and no road tax. The car is fun to drive, gets admiring glances. The controls are rather complex and I am still learning them
