Bought pre owned from known local dealer has proved as successful a purchase as previous similar model and has sufficient leg room for a 6FT 6IN bloke.

Although 13 years old it has only done 25,000 miles. Always starts first time. Not good for long journeys but fine for getting around town. A few niggles like condensation and leaky seals. Driver door lock has been replaced a couple of times.

I have to say I think the Skoda felicia (otherwise known as the VW engine) is very reliable and efficient. The only thing wrong with the car is all the external parts breaking down due to age/wear and tear. The engine is excellent and get very good mileage for a city (approximately 35/40 mpg).

Not very comfortable and would benefit from power steering. Good on running costs, reliability, space and practicality. This is my second Skoda and when this one needs to be scrapped, I shall be looking at Skodas again.

I purchased the Felicia when it was just under 3 years old and at a price of under £3,000 it was a bargin. It has been a very reliable car and on the occasions that I have taken it on long runs it has always coped well. It gets a lot of abuse and the trim is now showing a lot of wear but it is only cheap plastic so I'm not worried by the bits that have dropped off, they don't affect the running of the car. In recent years I have always been surprised that it sails through the MoT without any trouble apart from replacing the odd minor mechanical part and replacing worn tyres. I'd buy another Skoda tomorrow.

I have had 3 skoda cars and have been very pleased with the reliability and comfort of these cars the car i have at the moment is 14years old i have had it from new and it still runs as smooth as it did ine the beginning it goes into skoda for any servicing it needs and they look after it well the only reason i keep this car now is that i only drive about 1500 miles a year and so i dont see the point in changing it.
