Used Subaru cars
Subaru’s history started as Japan started to rebuild following the Second World War. In 1945, aeroplane manufacturer Nakajima Aircraft Company switched to making cars and became Fuji Heavy Industries instead. Its first car - the P1 - was the debut Subaru-branded vehicle, named after a cluster of stars in the Taurus constellation. But it was in the 1980s that Subaru’s dominance in the world of rallying became apparent, too, and with names like Colin McRae and Petter Solberg behind the wheel, Subaru’s success is something that is still celebrated today.
You’ll find the rugged nature that was so key to Subaru’s motorsport vehicles in its production cars, too. Cars like the ever-popular Impreza were a key example of this, while the no-nonsense Forester has always been a top choice among those who value reliability and space. In more recent times, cars like the BRZ have shown Subaru in an even sportier light, too.
Today, you’ll find that Subaru vehicles put reliability and safety as a centre point in its cars. Plus, with the inclusion of some clever hybrid technology in many of its models, you’ll find that Subaru vehicles are making big strides in terms of efficiency.
