The McLaren F1 is a high performance car with nearly unrivalled speed and handling, taking its inspiration and name from the manufacturer's Formula One cars. Before the Bugatti Veyron laid its claim to the title, the F1 was the fastest road car in the world, boasting a 0-60 time of just three seconds. It sits at the very pinnacle of road cars, and so understandably it's not the most accessible nor affordable car, but it is exciting, attractive and fast. The soon-to-be-released P1 is an equally powerful supercar, but is powered by plug-in hybrid technology, and shows McLaren's commitment to not only superior performance, but innovative technology.
