Audi A6 reviews

Over 190000 miles now and never let me down. Little things going wrong or need replacing, but mainly down to wear and tear now. Cabin and materials still looking good, and still enjoyable and comfortable to drive. Pet hate is anything to do with changing light bulbs! Would like to meet the headlights designer and watch them try to change bulbs!! Overall though very pleased, will be keeping.

I have driven Audis for 15 years, obviously I am happy to do so or I would have changed.

Exellent car never let me down does everything I need faultlessly. Love it.

A very good tow car for my large trailer. Good economy foe a car with a significant performance. To date outstanding reliability over some 60,000 miles.

Car is approaching 1/4 million miles and has been largely reliable apart from general wear and tear items. Still gives 45 to 50 mpg and is large enough for 5 people plus dogs and luggage. I hope to buy another newer one in the next year or two.

does what we want.....loads of room......comfortable.....why change it

I would buy another one but this is my last car it will last the rest of my driving life.

Absolutely beautiful car , I know its early days but we love it and our family is over the moon. Its so comfortable and everything about it is lovely.

I bought this car last December. It has been an absolute joy to ride especially on longer journeys. On these journeys I end up feeling far fresher than I have in any other car and tend to be able to drive further before I need to rest as I feel far more comfortable and relaxed when driving. The accessories make this car!

The A6 is one of the best cars I have owned or driven,as an ex car fleet manager I do have experience of other cars but the A6 comes out the best,very comfortable,economic amd looks great.

Great performance, handling and fuel consumption but parts and labour are expensive through Audi.

This car replaced our previous A 6 Avant which was still going strong after 337000 miles and was a real work - horse. The new car doesn't feel as robust and is not as economical on fuel as the "official" figures would lead you to believe. Dreading the day when I have to replace the tyres at £ 130 each! What is it with this fashion for low profile tyres!! My wife lives in fear of kerbing the alloys. But it's big and comfortable and does long journeys in comfort, which is really why we bought it.

This is my first Audi but it most certainly will not be the last. A super reliable car, not cheap to run but well worth the costs.

A Very reliable car all round. Everything seems to work and after 260,000 miles I have had VERY little that needs doing, other than usual maintenance as you would expect. Car requires its 3rd ever clutch now and tyres last about 30,000 a set. Its achiles heel is that I seem to need a new CV joint on the left or right front about once every 2 years and whilst the parts are not outrageously expensive everything seems to be so well put together that there seems to be a lot of labour involved for most jobs. Overall, I love it and with a quick brush up nobody would ever know that it has done well over a quarter of a million miles!

Servicing has been good but attitude at service desk has varied over the years. Recently there has been a noticeable improvement. Would recommend the car to anyone who has to travel long distances. I travel 4-5 times a year to visit my daughter in France.
