I've owned this Sprint Blue 4 wheel drive Audi S3 for just on 50,000 miles since 2012. Bought at 30000 miles and Audi serviced. The first thing I did was to have the wheel alignment checked by a specialist; it was out a touch on the front Left which can be evidence of kerbing. It has been serviced every year by an Audi agent in the UK or at times, in Germany and France. Wear wise its had a new set of discs all round, the timing belt changed, the water pump changed, brake fluid, and the Haldex oil changed all as per the schedule. I use Continental Contisport 5 for summer, and have a set of Dunlop winter sport 5s from December to early March. The summer tyres tend to last approx 15000 miles. Still on the winters I bought 2 years ago, but will probably replace soon. I have a special load cover for the rear when the seats are folded down so I can carry stuff to the tip. Its even carried a complete Ford Escort Engine to an engine tuner. I average around 30.5 mpg ( roughly 9.0 litres per 100 kms) over a weeks driving on country, town and motorway. Looking on Autotrader the car could fetch around £8-900. I just cannot see what would replace it.

The car is excellent but consumption is poor. The later version is much better

Even though the car is 23 years old and has done 221000 miles, she still starts first time and runs very smoothly. I have had here for 7 years. The purchase price back then was £900.00 apart from the running costs of tyres, servicing, MOT and road tax etc. She has been very good as my daily driver and I would recommend a classic car to anyone.
