I suffered from cancer and the prognosis wasn’t too good, I decided to buy a 2011 BMW 760li which cost over £110k only a few years previously. It was to be the car that would pay for my funeral, right from the off I experienced problems with the sun roof not closing opening correctly, I was quoted over £1400 to fix. After a few weeks the car would serif misfired, this was diagnosed as fuel injectors (and on BMW’s forums this was a common problem particularly in the USA) this cost me over £2k to rectify. This car had come with FBMWSH, I wrote to the CEO of BMW Uk, in short they weren’t interested. In two years of ownership and only 4K of Miles this car had over £15k spending just to keep ahead of continued problems. I spent over £1300 on a service prior to trading it on as my financial situation had been destroyed by this BMW, I was told it still needed over £2000 to fix air conditioner and sun roof. I traveled on the M4 only for the onboard computer to inform me Stop Chasis unbelievably this car drained me physically emotionally and financially. I’d owned BMW’s in my twenties never experienced any issues, this was my nemesis BMW couldn’t of cared less now I’m debt and, well as for my funeral costs well! DO NOt consider this model as a used car purchase unless you have very deep pockets
