I’ve had my accord for 2 years now purchased in 2018 and it’s just excellent, It has almost 24000 miles and I know it’s going to last for a very long time. It’s very reliable and goes quick to 132mph. The vehicle is very comfortable aswell with half leather, the running costs ain’t bad it roughly does about 30-35 mpg what’s showing on mine. Overall the car is very good and the engine is excellent.

I'm on my 4th Honda Accord, which I have had for over 12 years. 1st class reliability and this model is equipped with everything. The 2.3 engine is much more useful on the road than the 2 2lts ones I had, the longer stroke gives it more pull at lower revs and it just doesn,t need a lot of revving. I don't know how I am going to replace it as the type V had a fuller spec than the EX models and is very rare and my hatchback one is the only one I have ever seen.

After several Accords, Civics and an FRV, I wanted a newer design Accord. I bought this very attractively designed Cobalt blue 2008 registered Honda Accord from a main Honda dealer in Chiswick three years ago with 25,000 + miles and a full comprehensive Honda service history. It is a smooth, effortless and very quick 2.4 EX automatic with every extra imaginable. ADAS with collision mitigation, clever cruise control which keeps it's distance automatically from the car in front, leather seats ( front heated and electric), brilliant sat nav, voice control climate control and satnav, a locking system which opens and closes windows and sunroof at the touch of a button on the key fob, an electric sunroof (fantastic and unusual these days), great performance when required and fairly good economy, (30 around town and 40+ mpg possible on long runs). I have had to have new brake pads all round and regular Honda services but it has been very reliable. It has only covered 60,000 miles and I will keep it for several years yet. Road tax is high at £305 but some new car deals can cost this much monthly. I recommend the Accord 2.4 EX. I think it us off the radar for many drivers and they could be missing a treat. Economy on fuel isn't everything. Comfort and good design can compensate. A great car.

Really nice car and the second one i have owned. Most reliable and a far better choice than a BMW or Audi but so understated and a well kept secret. Sorry Honda have stopped producing them as there is nothing else i like any more.

I have owned my accord for two years and have been surprised at its outstanding economy. When driving conservatively on the motorway, I regularly find it meeting or even exceeding the manufacturers specified MPG figures (my run between Bristol & Kent typically achieves 80 MPG) and that's not bad for a well maintained 8 year old car. Reliability is superb, that expected for a Honda. It's provides a comfortable drive and a fully loaded vehicle has every conceivable gadget even by todays standards, the cabin comfortably accommodates 5 adults and the boot approaches the cavernous size you'd expect in a Mercedes saloon. Some downsides, the front suspension is a weakness with components (bushes/arms) requiring regular replacement and the Bluetooth connection, to the hands free system, doesn't stream music from your phone.

Have had Honda Accords for years on my 6th now , spent all my working life in the motor trade as mechanic / authorized examiner so do have an appreciation of a good reliable product , notice that it's Japanese product made at Swindon and are investing more in the plant to export, ( not like some other Japanese manufactur winging on about brexit or is it more to do with the French involvement ha ha

This is by far the best car I have ever owned , I have had it for over 8 years now and with regular servicing have never had any major faults only the usual like new tyres ,wiper blades and now as it is getting a little older I am having to replace the brake calipers as they are starting to rust and seize up now and then , but after 125000 miles the engine is as sweet as a nut . Like other owners have said ,it has most of the things you would want in a car without paying extra for it such as electric front seats that are heated , sun roof , heated mirrors , cruise control and built in multi cd player , If I had one gripe it would be the wayward handling that is not as precise as some cars , I have only ever fitted the top type of tyre on the car but the steering is still the same . Would I buy another one , you bet I would , I have been thinking of down sizing to a smaller car but I love my Accord so much that I will probably keep it until it has to go to the scrap yard and looking at some of the 200000 plus Hondas for sale on the internet , I have got a long way to go before that happens , GREAT CAR WITH BRILLIANT RELIABILITY.

I bought this 15 years ago and it still has the original exhaust system. The only part I replaced is the oxygen sensor. I changed the timing belt at 50k and asked the garage to keep the old one so I could examine it. It was like a brand new one without any noticeable wear. I would go anywhere in this car, even now. It just goes and goes quietly and smoothly. I've had five Honda Accords since they first came out. Even the aircon is original and never been recharged. Buy Honda - you won't regret it.

Paid £700.00 , put a clutch in it ,plugs oil and filters. Its covered 78,000 miles .If it has a fault it could do with more torque at the lower end of the rev range. Only a small gripe in all honesty , otherwise an excellent car. .Fabulous motorway car
