Hyundai Accent reviews

I have owned my Hyundai Accent sine 2004 and, so far, it hasn't given a moments trouble - wonderful little car and so roomy for moving bulky loads.

I bought my Hyundai in 2007 and it had about 47,000 miles on the clock. Only this year (2015) after 8 years of reliability and great performance have I decided to replace it. One of its best features is the ability to accelerate very well from a standing start. Getting away from traffic lights, entering roundabouts quickly and safely have all been a great feature of this car. Furthermore, the power steering is superb so general handling is excellent. Finally, during my 8 years of ownership I have not had to get any major work done on the car apart from the expected jobs such as replacing the battery and tyres every 2-3 years, as well as the break pads. For a car that has had a total lifespan of 13 years on the road, I would recommend it highly to any potential customer.

I am quite satisfied with my car even though it's old. It was the best I could afford at the time of purchase. The fuel consumption isn't bad. My only grievance is that it does get very misted up inside and so one has to keep the heater on and the rear window de-mister going, which doesn't help my sense of safety on the road.

I didn't know much about Hyundai cars before I bought this one and I am very impressed. Apart from disliking starting on cold damp mornings it has proved to be an excellent buy. There is plenty of room for all passengers. Drivers seat is comfortable and has height & lumbar adjustments to make it just right. It has a good sized boot which is enlarged when the back seats are folded down. It has aircon, which I think needs servicing, and a sunroof - not logical but I like it as it lets in plenty of light. It has a good turn of speed and I feel confident driving (and parking) it anywhere. I have found it quite economical for its size and engine size getting about 40mpg on loval journeys. My one gets through a lot of oil but I don't think thats typical but it does lose a star on running costs. I expect I'll have to part with it eventually as it is getting a bit old but I shall definitely consdier another Hyundai when the day comes.

Comfortable, nippy little car. Salesman lied when he said I would get 50 some miles to the gallon - more like 35 and that's on a 200 mile road trip and I don't speed or use the A/C !!

My car is very comfortable reliable also economical and suits to a tee I would certainly buy another of this make
