Bought this car to replace super old Polo. I've had it three years and it's boring! One of my hobbies was maintaining my car. Now I never touch it other than to change oils and filters and occasional lubrication of doors etc. It really has been utterly reliable. The auto makes it a bit thirsty - 34 mpg on local motoring - but on distances it purrs at 75 mph and gives 40 mpg+. People moan about the size of the boot but it's a SMALL car! I love it. And it seats 4 adults comfortably.

Previous to this car I had a 2017 I10 1.2 which had similar problems to the current car.It is difficult to find reverse gear on numerous occasions I have to try a number of times. I did ask the question prior to purchase of the new model and was assured there would be no problem. I wish to add that the 2017 model went back to the dealer on numerous occasions to rectify without success. I am an experienced driver and never received problems with a previous i10 model or my wife’s 1.6 l diesel I30. Have other drivers experienced similar problems?

we start with the outside. My i10 is an mid spec 2018 model. Personally this gives only three areas to tell the diffrence from base spec, the LED running lights(the rest of the lights are regular dim halogen bulb),cool 4 spoke '15'wheels and dark blue metal paint. Now the cars engine. Its a three cyl, normally asperated 966cc unit. Its reliable and peppy enough for me(14.5 sec 0-60)however its noisy at high revs, and its 88 hp is way underpowered in my opinion. Inside, however is ok.The car is well equipped, has apple car play/android auto. It has a frugal '6' touchsreen mounted in the centre stack. The most used buttons are steering wheel mounted. The aircon controlls and emergincy warning triangle button are lit well. However space inside is at a premium, there are annoyingly cheap interior plastics. The thick a pillars are a nuscense because of visibility and wind noise.Overall the hiundi is a brilliant car and i'll be sad to see it gone. This is its replacement, a vauxhall mokka e crossover.

A lovely old car, as charming in looks ap is peformance. 60mpg on a bad day. Lack of room at back, very little legroom and underpadded seats let the car down.

Had two previous i10 1.2 and were everything you could want from a town car. The moment we bought this 2021 Connect SE we found it hard to pull away without the feeling it was going to stall. You have to over rev and play with the clutch to pull away from stop. It seems the A/C drags the power down. This happens when the car demands the A/C to come on. If you sit in the car and hold 2000rpm it will fluctuate between 1000rpm and 2000rpm at random. Shut the A/C off (which you can't as the car mists up ) then the car behaves normally. Hyundai insist this is not a problem and there for no fix available. I would be interested to find if anybody else has found problem.

We were surprised on delivery day of our new Hyundai i10 Connect car that it only came with one Smart key and one manual key, instead of two smart keys. After complaining to the salesman that we required two workable keys, as two people were to drive the car, we were advised that Hyundai only supply one smart key and we would have to purchase another at a further cost of £215. We were extremely annoyed to find out at this late stage that the second key was an "extra", after the deal was done and monies paid. We should have been made aware of this at the start and this has taken the shine off our new car. To make matters worse, the first time we used the keys separately, I used the manual key, which set off the car alarm, with no means of turning it off, as my wife had the smart key. Very embarrassing. When I made it clear to the dealer and Hyundai that I was very unhappy with just one workable key, my complaint fell on deaf ears with both the Dealer and Hyundai Customer service. They should not allow me to walk away unhappy with my brand new vehicle. After continued negotiations over two weeks with the Dealer, we have had no option but to accept his final offer to pay half the cost of an additional Smart key, costing me in excess of £100, for a second key for our brand new car. Since when was a second usable car key an “extra”? I rang on Monday morning 18.01.21 and Hyundai’s customer service was no help at all and did not even return the promised phone call, so I had to call back later on that day. On Tuesday I got an email from Hyundai customer queries, (which I sent on Tuesday 12.01.21 and which promised a response in 2 days) and which then referred me back to the Dealer. Hyundai customer service is abysmal.

55 to 60 mpg in the real world (dropping to 50 if you sit at 90 on the motorway.) £20 tax. I've covered 61000 miles in 5 1/2 years and it's been faultless. Two kids have learned to drive in it and it's going strong. I owned the previous i10 and was keen to replace it... this one is a keeper. Need to know... the ESP is a bit zealous in snow or on ice, so turn it off when the snow falls deep. You can't carry four adults for more than an hour or so... the back is cramped if fully grown adults also sit in the front. It really is a brilliant small car.

I’ve had my i10 for 4 years, bought with very low mileage for its year. I’ve had no trouble with it at all. It took me 140 miles round trip once a week up the motorway, no trouble and will do 70mph easily. It is comfortable easy to drive easy to get in and out of when you’ve got dodgy knees and short legs! I’m now a Hyundai fan and wouldn’t have anything else

Hyundai got everything just right on this car. I love driving it. Comfortable seats with good side support. Very comfortable ride yet good cornering. Smooth engine and gearbox, the 3 cyllinder engine has a nice character. Long high speed journeys are a pleasure, double seals on the doors along with good sound proofing means suprisingly quiet progress. The steering is light and effortless when manouvering in the supermarket car park yet perfect at speed on the motorway (and does not veer off course and needing constant correction like my previous car). Good fuel economy (65mpg on a run) . Good dab radio. It rides like a bigger car has enough weight to feel solid but handles like a smaller car , a very reassuring combination. I love it.

I wasn’t really intending on buying newer car when I bought mine but unfortunately some issues with my old one meant I had no choice so decided to see what was out there and I came across an 18 month old Hyundai i10, took it for a test drive and well the rest is history! I’ve done around 500 miles since I got it 3 months ago and it’s served me well on city roads, I’ve not done too much on the motorway yet. However at less than 15,000 miles on the odometer it appears the brakes are grinding (my mum noticed this when she drove my car for me after I fell ill whilst out) the reason this concerns me is the car was serviced the day I went for the hand over so it would be reasonable to assume the brakes were in good nick then. Although one plus my mum hated driving it so it looks like she won’t be asking to borrow my car anytime soon! I’ve marked down on space as I’m not sure if I can fit my bike inside so may have to get a roof rack or similar but what I’m saving on tax, and fuel is worth it. I’ve marked down for performance as unless you get a good run at a hill the smaller engines will struggle but it performs better than my old car which had a bigger engine! Also it started fine first time after a cold snap after being sat outside for two weeks. Comfort is marked down as my mum banged her knee on the steering console as it is low.

my Hyundai i10 is a really good small car cheap to run and reliable and a good all round small car.

A reliable, cheap to run small car. This model was the first (original) I10, and as such all later editions have improvements to the very few negative comments one could make - eg digital clock permanently on view, and illuminated when car lights are on, and the lack of a wash/wipe facility. The conversion to a variable sized load carrier by the folding down of one third/two thirds of the rear seatback is very simply and quickly achievable. This car is comfortable, quiet and economical, and ideal for the older person who does not want to be 'seated at floor level'

Very nippy, easy to handle and park, comfortable with little extras like electric sunroof, cup holders and heated seats. Economical and reliable. I love my i10.

The only thing I dislike about this car is that it feels as though I am driving a box ! By that, I mean that when I am cornering, It feels unstable and when I go over uneven surfaces the suspension feels quite jarring

My car is now 4 months old and I have covered some 1600miles. The majority of these miles have been on local roads but there have also been motorway trips to visit family and friends. I am averaging some 46mpg. The engine revs easily and when accelerating up to motorway traffic speed I have to be careful not to rev to high in low gears. The boot is sufficiently large to carry a large suitcase or two medium size. I have not had a full load of 5 people but my son (6ft 2in plus) and his wife fit in with comfort.

Bought it as it came top in one of the surveys. I have never even had to rause the bonnet. Completely reluable and very cheap to run. Also very comfortable for 4 adults.

<M y Hyundai exceeds all expectations in performance and comfort. There is a payoff in that mine has an automatic gearbox so that the fuel consumption averages down to 41.5 but this is off set by the comfort and performance which has proved to be exceptional. I am more than happy to recommend to all my friends the attributes of this excellent machine.
