Only having this car for two months it’s early to give it a comprehensive review however, so far no regrets.  The e power electric battery drives the wheels and the take off is very smooth and foot down quite impressive.  I purchased the automatic version the first ever automatic I’ve owned. I’m really impressed, best way to describe it is a golf cart, this is by no means a criticism of the vehicle. Just instant, and quiet.  As the engine is only there to charge the battery, at very low speeds it’s just the battery being used.  Fuel wise it’s giving dash readings of best 65mpg and worst 37mpg.  All I know is I’m not filling up as much as I did with my previous car, a KIA XCeed 1.4 manual giving me 34mpg. The best I could get!. Filling up the Kia tank gave an unleaded 300 mile range, The Qashqai is a 600 mile unleaded range. The interior dash quality, fixtures, knobs etc are of good quality.  The infotainment screen is impressive, wireless apple car play is a plus however you have to connect by wire to play your tunes, Apple Music BBC sounds etc. Parking camera is also really impressive. The cloth seats however could be better, (faux leather Tekna+) they both look and feel a low quality, not sure if these will stand the 3 year lease wear test.  Storage areas also lacking. The N Connector trim also comes with manual seat adjustment, with a price tag of £32k it should reflect electric.  Having said that once set they are only occasionally messed with.  At this price point some comforts like heated seats, steering wheel etc etc only come with the Tekna or Tekna+ models at £34-41k All these goodies were in the XCeed and cheaper @ £30k.   The Boot has adequate storage, no complaints there, especially like the duel cloth/pvc sides. Needless to say early days but if the fuel figures are anything to go by I’m not complaining.  If your looking for economy then it’s definitely worth a view.

Had no problems with this car so far. Â Very good on fuel for a larger car. Lots of space in the rear.

Changed my Vauxhall Grandland X after just 6 months for the Qashqai hybrid, only had it a short time but absolutely love it with all its extras as standard. It’s comfortable, powerful, and seems very economical ( shortish today today returned over 43mph.) Will be keeping it for some time.

Having had a 2010 Qashqai, we felt we were ready for a change. We looked at many vehicles of a similar type and test drove many. But back we came to a Qashqai in the new model and we love it. From style and comfort to economy you cant beat this vehicle. Also when you find and purchase a vehicle through the AA website you get a years free cover, fingers crossed we don't need it!

Bought the car on 28/03/17 it was driven down from Chorley Nissan on the 31/03/17 and delivered to Solihull.. I drove it the next day to hear a loud sound when sharp turning . I took it to a local Nissan service garage who promptly told me it was the front suspension . I am NOT PLEASED as this car was signed off and checked by Chorley and AA and signed. I also found the radio not working because the Antenna is missing. Letters are on their way to appropriate people explaining my disappointment over these matters and more.

I loved this car and after test drive I knew it was mine. I can't really rate running cost yet as I haven't had it long enough to tell, but overall it's a really nice car, good condition and great interior, lovely size boot and runs great. I I would use smiths again

Excellently appointed vehicle - glass roof, cameras, usb point etc. Woeful performance - the ctv transmission is indecisive and makes the vehicle slow to accelerate.

The car is used to tow my caravan and it does an excellent job. When towing, performance, economy and stability are all excellent. When solo, the car produces some excellent fuel economy figures and its only £30 to tax. Equipment levels are also excellent in Tekna trim. This is my third Qashqai, and my BEST one.

I have owned my Qashqai two years, solely purchased to be an economical and reliable runabout, to replace a Fiesta that we always felt was too low when sitting in it. The Qashqai is very easy to drive, a nice feel to the gear box and foot pedals. The steering is accurate and it handles well. I am very pleased with the fuel economy, and it is surprisingly very comfortable for a modest car ( we now use the Quashqai a lot and mainly keep the 4x4 for towing). The only downside of a small diesel engine is the lack of power initially moving off, some more gear changing has to be done than with a bigger engine, and allowing more space for overtaking. But when it is rolling will sail along easily at ... somewhat faster than one should on a motorway. Plastic interior is functional more than smart, but it is easy to keep clean. The seats are supportive and the drivers seat can be moved enough for different height drivers to be comfortable. And you can alter the rake of the steering wheel. The lights are good. The heater and air con are most efficient, and the controls are simple. The steering wheel mounted radio and cruise controls are handy. It carries four adults in comfort, and the boot is spacious. A minor gripe, the hand brake is way over to the side of the passenger seat, somewhat unnecessarily I think. And I'm not too fond of the finger lift to obtain reverse. The gear knob is comfortable, but has scratched and the chrome effect worn off, so that looks shabby. On the whole we are very pleased with the Qashqai, and is doing the job we want if for. When it is time to change the car we might upgrade to the bigger engined model, but will definitely consider another Qashqai.

After changing from 1.9 diesel Vauxhall to 1.6 petrol Nissan, mainly for environmental reasons, I found the Nissan to be somewhat underpowered. It would struggle to maintain 70mph in 5th gear on uphill stretch of dual carriageway. Good firm ride. Strange colour - appears black but turns brown in strong light. Rear electric window can be lowered by driver but not raised (electrical fault)!

Had the Qasqhai for a year and it has proved an outstanding car in all respects: for example comfort for 2 or 4 people, fuel economy, load capacity and driving enjoyment. Strongly recommended.

We down sized from an X Trail in 2012 to our Qashqai, which has proved to be a very reliable vehicle. Our only real critism is that the vehicle came with a user unfriendly puncture repair kit instead of a spare wheel and associated tools. Presumably this helped to achieve the claimed performance data. We bought a spare wheel etc and dumped the unsatisfactory repair kit. Additionally we find the vehicle has features that are presumably appealing to the digital generation such as our children (ages late twenties) but unnecessary for our generation - even though we drive long distances at times. That aside it is a very good vehicle, robust, reliable and reasonably comfortable, with good carrying capacity. The see through roof is a bit gimmicky, and in our case is usually shrouded by the retractable blind. In our opinion it is a good family car, and we are pleased with it.

Great car, plenty of power, space, comfortable but reliability is an issue. Finding you have a duff battery on a year old vehicle in France is not good.Nissan were good but only when I returned to the UK. I will probably not have another Nissan for that reason.

So far excellent and amazingly economical for size, only questions are the rear view (despite camera) and stupid fixed glass roof that's meant to be a sun roof and just bakes you if it's sunny.

A very practical car particularely for the aged or infirm, nice high position plenty of space to move around, most things to hand but on my model the information dial needs a magnifier to see it , it is so small, it has been enlarged on later models. A few initial problems which were speedily rectified by Nissan under warranty which has left me with a reliable and comfortable car, one which takes the roughest of roads in its stride, I am reluctant to change it, economy is more than reasonable.
