Only complaint concern is the lack of a spare wheel replaced by inflation kit as on many new types of vehicles.

Lovely car to drive. Easy to handle and steer with a tight turning circle. Boot a little on the small side for such a large car. Only real downside is visibility out of the rear window. It is much too small for the size of the car.

Ntec version very good sat nav, phone system, etc . Absolute family workhorse, very comfy on long trips, not as comfy as previous scenic , awkward place for drinks holder in centre console near arms- needs moving. Good in snow & icy weather with traction button on but only when tyres very good. Otherwise a great car, a little too heavy on petrol though.

A must have for any family

More than adequate for my current needs, short commute, low annual mileage, occasional long journeys. Running costs so far relate only to fuel consumption as yet have not had the vehicle long enough to comment on maintenance or reliability but no worries on this score to date. Some of the gadgetry can be a distraction from rather than an aid to driving.

I bought mine in February online and saved myself nearly £4000 off the local dealer's price. I've been very pleased with it. Better road visibility, feels well made, lots of gadgets, stop-start which is strange at first but now I like, currently getting 54mpg on average. Cheap to run (£30 annual road tax), I've only had the car since February 2013 but I am expecting good reliability as its a Nissan. Not a speedy drive, but fast enough for me and it handles well when I have to fling it around. Not the roomiest vehicle for space although I am well over 6 foot tall and it's no problem to sit in, quite comfortable actually with firm seats that hold you in place. I don't like the idea of not having a spare wheel - just a pump and tyre kit - good job it comes with three years inclusive breakdown in UK and abroad. Great Nissan Connect SatNav which always finds my destination and ways around traffic jams. All in all, so far so good!

Slightly sluggish at low speeds but very comfortable and quiet when cruising on major roads and motorways. Much more economic to run than my previous Ford petrol car. Currently getting 48mpg.

Only had car 4 weeks....no problems to date. Not as quiet and smooth as my mazda 3...but good high driving position and easy to get into. Larger wheels deal with potholes!

I bought the car because of the space which was suitable for putting a bicycle in the boot, the driving position which i liked and the comfort of the car. I find it very comfortable and fairly economical on long journeys and the engine is quiet at speed. But it is quite slow off the mark which is understandable considering the engine size and size of the car. It is enjoyable to drive on the motorway.

The Qashqai is a very practical, comfortable and useful vehicle. The higher driving position is one that I like and affords good vision of the road ahead. It is also far easier to get in and out of as I have got older and not so flexible.

Not the most flashy of cars but it is comfortable, handles well and has enough extras to satisfy. In icy weather I have been the shopping car for extended family whose hatchbacks and saloons struggled with road conditions,

Very reliable, comfortable and useful as both a family car and getting to and from work. Would buy another one without any doubt.

This is the second model of this vehicle we have owned and are very pleased with it. The performance is not especially good as the gearbox needs to be worked to get the best speed for overtaking etc.,and the car doesn't really start to pull until revs of 3500 to4000 are reached. From a safe driving point of view, the higher seating position helps, all controls are easily to hand and the brakes and road holding are very good for a car of this size. The car is extremely comfortable to drive, and after driving from Ipswich to Durham there are no aching joints or tiredness, and the fuel economy at around 39 mpg since we have owned the car (5600 miles) is very acceptable. The model we have has cruise control and a speed limiter which helps on a long journey, and has a number of other useful features such as automatic lighting and wipers. For a general family vehicle, I believe this vehicle takes a lot of beating, particularly at the price range it sits in.

Practical family car great for running the family, kids + friends around. Not too costly to run and maintain (depending on petrol prices of course). Nissan dealers in the main are good with some exceptions. Holds it's value well and looks good. I've owned Fords, Vauxhalls, VW, Land Rover and Honda and this is one of the best cars I have had.
