I really don't like this car, but had no choice as I needed a car that was cheap to fix and fairly cheap to run and tax. There is not enough leg room in the back, the demisters are rubbish and take for never to clare the windows, and its not a very comfortable ride. But one good thing its a cheap little bus to get repaired.

nice small car that gives flexibility. plenty of space inside when back seats are folded down .economical to run.

I am quite happy with my little car & find it much easier to park than my previous larger car, though the suspension is not as good. However it copes with motorways & journeys of up to 150 miles very well. I have no complaints.

This is a very practical car. It is nippy enough and handles well enough to make it good and fun to drive on any road. I can take huge loads, but is still easy to park. It delivers 55+mpg across urban and motorway usage. Running costs in terms of servicing and repairs so far very reasonable. I test drove the 207 but found it to be less nimble and less practical (not enough cubby-holes, less pleasant place to be). I'd give it 4 *s across the board.

I bought this car second hand over 8 years ago. The body work and interior are still in fantastic condition. It has never had any major problems at MOT or services. Solid yet simple car.

Love this car, so comfortable for a small car and has plenty of power. Reasonably good on fuel consumption. No major problems, just general wear and tear costs.

I currently run a 206 which was given to me. It's not a model I would have chosen to buy but in the two years I have owned the car it has needed:- New main communication unit Full exhaust clutch Rear break cylinders Head gasket It currently has a tendency for the petrol pipe to detach itself from the injector rail. The car now has 75000 on the clock and was garaged for most of its life.

I've had this car for 9 years and always found it a pleasure to own and drive. Apart from normal wear and tear it's had very few problems and always starts first time even if I haven't driven it for a while. The space for driver and front passenger is good and the boot is quite a good size too. The only issue I have is that the inside front windscreen is prone to icing up in very cold weather.

very good .. great design very reliable

Basically a good mid sized family car all round. Drawbacks are gear strength very poor in first when uphill travelling from parked. Too many electric feature controls with too many uncertain variables to fix if a fault develops. Very good fuel economy & car tax costs.

Generally a good little runner, but not much acceleration. Comfortable and spacious inside for a small car. Have had to replace clutch, clutch cable, gearbox, radiator etc. as well as usual smaller items due to wear and tear (brake cylinders, pads, cables etc.), so it has proved expensive. Wish I could afford a newer car.

I find this car perfectly reliable and comfortable, but my wife finds the doors too heavy and prone when she is trying to get in to fall towards the shut position or towards the point where it is at 45 degrees to the side of the car. For space and practicality it works for a family of three with not too much luggage, and has been used with not more than two people in it to transport small items of furniture. The running costs seem to me not excessive, but I am sure a more recent car would have lower running costs. The one problem is the slow acceleration, which would be dangerous in certain circumstances, but which is mostly an irritation when moving away from a roundabout or traffic lights; my cruising speed on a trunk road is at the national speed limit.

this is a lovely car that drives well. not the most fuel efficient but is good for long journies when gear changes are not needed.

I have had my car for over 8 years from brand new. Overall it has been an excellent runner and is economical on petrol and insurance. It has been excellent in snow and icy conditions where I have seen many other cars fall by the wayside. My only comment against would be the cost of the parts when they go wrong as over the last 2 years I have had to spend out on cambelt, water pump, radiator, clutch and a few other bits and pieces but I do drive a lot of miles each week.

Only used for city driving, so mileage is low. Ten years old and only has needed new tyres, screen blades and brake pads over the years.

I have been more than happy with my car and she has been extremely reliable, but due to the age I am now finding the running costs higher which is only to be expected.

Good car, performs and hold the road pretty well. What has surprised me this year is the price of Road Tax renewal
