This car is a money pit. Total rubbish and Peugeot have no interest in putting anything right. I would never buy a Peugeot again.

I am really enjoying the Peugeot 3008. It is comfortable, drives beautifully but has a serious Achilles heal. It has an adblue fault which I now discover is very common. It is likely to cost between £1500 and £2000 to fix. My advice is do not buy a diesel Peugeot 3008.

Bought in January 2022 from a Peugeot dealer. Registered 2015, 16k on the clock, inside and outside absolutely immaculate, paid just over £10k. First breakdown March 2022, waiting for recovery and by the time they got there the fault had cleared itself. Happened again end of May, turns out it was one of the fuel injectors, apparently common fault on these to the point where if the car was still under the Peugeot warranty, they'd replace all the fuel injectors, not just the faulty one. Due to my local Peugeot garage being busy and not giving me a courtesy car, had to spend £1100 hiring a car for 11 days (car was at garage for 2 weeks). Breaks down AGAIN beginning of November, leaving me stranded at the side of a dual carriageway at 12.15am. Got it recovered to local garage, it's the high pressure diesel pump but they don't have any in stock and don't have a date when they'll be back in stock. Currently been without a car for 4 weeks, 5 days. Hopefully the part should come in tomorrow but the garage don't know if they can fit it tomorrow because they're so busy. Wish we'd never bought this, broke down 3 times in less than a year, had 2 big repairs needed, going to trade it in after the New Year and get something that's actually reliable.

Just done 60000 miles and gearbox fault on display. The gear does not want to turn on.Googled the information, as it turned out, this is a normal problem for Peugeot.Solving the problem will cost you half the price of the car.Savings are deceiving...

Do not be guided by the manufacturers mpg figures. My first 900 miles from new on urban/suburban runs it returned under 35mpg. A second check on a 300 mile journey on m/ways at legal speeds and using c/control it managed 35.7mpg. All these figures based on a 'tank to tank' accuracy.

My 3008 was purchased new and driven by me alone, it has now covered 87,023 faultless miles and covers 52.3 mpg on longer runs and 48 mpg when used for local journeys. Needless to say I'm very pleased with the vehicle and will shortly replace it with the new 3008 model available in January, providing, Peugeot have not ruined it in the name of profit.

Reliable, Love the Overhead Display, Comfort

This car is comfortable and easy for access. The automatic transmission is good as is the inbuilt satnav. The variable options of boot capacity are very useful as is the ''head-up'' display showing speed, satnav indication and cruise control setting. I am 6'-2" tall and find, unusually, that I am not cramped. The automatic features are sensibly designed and useful.I enjoy driving this car.

Bought a brand new one only had it a week. Had lots of cars as been driving 25yrs. Love it. Ride height great. Handling great. Fuel consumption great. Styling fantastic. Interior comfortable and stylish and the best styling. The space inside is great. I'm the think leg room in rear is good and boot enormous. The only grudge is the tightness of where seashells clip in on front. Anyway test drive one. Buy one

We were looking for a new car which would meet all our needs. We wanted a car that was comfortable, roomy, reliable, economical and one that my wife would enjoy driving as much as myself. We wanted a car that would take us, and copious amounts of 'stuff' to our place in France a few times a year. We wanted a car that would make those long journeys as comfortably as possible. Having looked at several different makes and models we went for the Peugeot 3008 Allure with the semi-automatic gearbox as well as all the other bells and whistles that came with it. Despite previous comments on the gearbox I cannot fault it at all. Would I recommend the car to a friend? YES Would I buy another one? YES In fact the only downside to the car is that it took 6 months from order to delivery and I'm still waiting for the handbook to arrive after 4 months.

Performance is very good. Running Costs - very good mileage per gallon. Comfort is overall very good. So far very reliable. Space and practicality - could do with more cup holders, very small glove compartment. Doesn't have some of the additional features that other cars have for the cost of the vehicle.

I have had this car for 2 months. It is an easy car to drive and is very manoeuvrable. Fuel consumption to date is better than expected. The ride is pretty smooth. Whilst the split level boot is a good feature there is a a negative in that a normal sized person needs to watch their head in getting in to the car via the front doors.

This car has been a great success with lots of space and the 150 bhp model has plenty of pulling power for our boat and loaded with 5 adults. All found long journeys comfortable. I enjoy the fact that I am sitting higher on the road and the 18 inch standard tyres give the extra ground clearance for the small amount of off road needed. Electric handbrake has taken a little getting used to but on the whole very happy with the level of spec, the handling and the ride comfort.

Wished I had bought the larger engined model as when in the eco setting it can be slugish pulling away, other than that very economical and very large space in the boot. The rear seats fold down so great for getting flat pack furniture or larger items

plenty of power available when needed, but easy to keep to speed limits, especially when it tells you of economy rate! it is a pity it does not have the space for a spare wheel, perhaps in future they will rearrange the batteries, and create more luggage space.i have the limited edition model, which is well equipped. as i like electrically adjustable drivers seat.

A great family car. This is the second one that we have purchased. Does everything that we want it to do and does just over 48mpg.

insufficient power. Sounds as if the engine is labouring in 5th gear. No speed. Quite like the automatic handbrake. Seat belts are difficult to fasten, stuck right down between seat and central console. Previously had a BMW so was probably spoilt.
