Over 20 years old and still going strong. Lovely car.

I have been well satisfied with my old Rover, although it now costs me up to £1000 a year to service and replace parts. The car has broken down once on the move in 110,000 miles - failed alternator; and twice when stationary - electrical earth problem. The only design discomfort I have encountered is the lack of footwell space for the rear-seat passengers.

My dad bought our current car as new in Nov 1999. In all those years it has never broken down. It's had 2 batteries, 1 clutch among others things that have only been replaced once. As my dad is longer with us it has sentimental value & will be with us until in can no longer be kept on the road.

fully automatic and totally reliable car. If they still made them I would buy another one. My previous car was a Freelander and that was a good one too. I always buy British made cars as the best value for money and quality.

Very little problem with the car which i have had since new. Comfortable and roomy. Performance suits my requirements. I would certainly buy another if they were still available. Great loss when MG Rover was forced to close.

Although under powered my car is fast enough on motorways and once you get to 70 it will hold it ease.It gives a very comfortable ride.I have towed a caravan with it but found it not to be a pleasurable experience. This was through lack of power.I can`t fault the reliability. It has been excellent. In the almost four years that I have owned it It has cost very little to maintain. For cheap motoring, comfort and reliability I would certainly recommend it.
