The Saab 900 Turbo is a solid, comfortable and fun car to drive. This 1990 convertible has the burgundy leather interior and Cirrus White body, a beautiful combination. It cruises more smoothly than most cars at hiway speeds and with the top down and wind screen in place, there is no discomfort from air turbulence. This 33 year old ride is always ready to go.

I have has this Saab for about 8 years now having had a Saab before this one. The car has been very reliable and has done 237,000 plus miles on the same engine. Apart from regular servicing the engine has not been touched. Apart from a few minor rust spots on one rear wing, the bodywork is very good for the year. It stands out in all weathers and never fails to start.

Solid reliable vehicle. Very comfortable with sensible 'extras' and nothing of the modern type 'gimmicks'. Very pleasant to drive and imparts a feeling of good engineering and style.

I acquired this (my second)Saab in Feb. 2005 from a close friend knowing the cars history and high mileage (160,000 ish) Although not as powerful as my previous 9000i I have towed my caravan with no problems since getting the 900. The comfort and large boot have been very useful over the years as we have taken it in turns to go on holiday with some friends and without boasting I can pack a boot very well. The car has only once let me down when the fuel pump failed. I obtained a new one and was back on the road in a couple of days. The car goes back to the garage where is was sold for MOT's and servicing and after 236,256 miles you can imagine how thick the service log is!! MOT's are usually straight forward although I had to have the first ball joint replace last year. D.Atkinson.

I'm very fond of my old Saab... she's not the quickest or the smartest and she can be a bit thirsty...27 ish...but comfort wise excellent and a very reliable car with a bit of style... The only problem I've had is a new clutch at 110000 miles which is to be expected and the roof can be a bit temperamental... ...I believe they call these 'the rock' ... It's likely there will still be a good number of these still running in 10 years time.. fingers crossed mine will be one of them...
