I just bought this used a few weeks ago. 135,000 kilometers on the odometer, but the interior is extra clean. We've named her Greta Greenbox, and she's a lot of fun to drive around town. I agree with others that she's not made for the freeway. She's most comfortable at around 65-80kph, which is perfect for getting around the small town we live in. She's very basic -- no A/C, the back windows are crank-style. But that's less to break down, right? I am living in North Finland, so the no A/C isn't too big of a deal, although this summer has been very warm the past few weeks. I've added some hippie-style flower stickers to her, although she still has personality for days without them. But she's even cuter now. From a practical stand point, the back doors open to seats that aren't sunk down to the floorboards, so getting in and out is very comfortable and easy. Right now, I'm the only one with a driver's license, but I know that with my mobility issues, the ease of getting in and out of the backseat is important to me. I do like all of the cubby holes around the front, which reminds me of the Smart car I had (but Greta is a lot more comfortable!), and was one of the features I loved. I'd like to find out if I can put an aftermarket A/C unit in her, in case the continued climate change is going to continue with these blazing summers here in Finland. Not sure where to start the search for that information. tl;dr - 10/10 would buy again.

Was offered one of these cars or vans with windows for a short term gap as my old Magentis after 10 years was due to change. It was stored for 2 years in a garage by a disabled old lady wanting to retire from driving, hardly used and in mint condition so for £400.00 plus a service I though was a wise short term vehicle. It rates as a rather hideous looking box on wheels the kids affectionately said dad's bought a wheelie bin! But after a few trips around the town I found the seating position amazingly comfortable, so spacious and practical. Totally reliable and has all the creature comforts one requires. After four months the kids now love it and drive it more than me! If you can put up with the jokes and a car that may not make Top Gears cool wall these little vehicles are amazing value, the only downside is the motorway experience and no and no air conditioning. I would recommend a gentle 60 to 65 mph cruising on a motorway but you do get to your destination safe, relaxed and without any aches that are the result of long distance travel. Most of all this is the only car we have had that the dog loves. So it's here to stay and we will not part with it

This car does not disappoint, unless you are J.Clarkson -). It will more than keep up with traffic, but is not any good for motorway traffic. the top speed is around 90, but after 60 it runs out of any real puff. The inside is like the tardis because of the square shape, it will seat 5 with some boot space, the back seats are 40/60 or nearly fold flat, so there is a lot of room for those trips to the tip. Fuel consumption is 45mpg without trying ( very boring ) around town, I did do the boring driving to test and got 58mpg . the car has not let me down yet the four years I have had it. Suzuki 0-60 is 12 sec. I timed it ( on a private road ) 13.4 sec. So considering the mileage ( 75000 ) not bad. The seats are very comfortable , my wife who is disabled can confirm this, we spent 14 hours during storm force winds . Well things I do not like , the windscreen washer bottle is hidden in the nearside wing , why put it where I can see it ? The wipers do not clear my side of the screen , I adjusted them to sweep my side so its ok unless I am on the motorway -). Well my biggest gripe is the road tax /poll tax, Insurance / poll tax/ petrol /pole tax

This car was purchased 2nd hand in 2001. I was looking for a better driving position and it fitted the bill. I was also looking for something to carry frozen milk a short distance to a cheese maker. it has been marvellous. I have had chest freezers in it, going to the dump, easy to load and unload with its flat boot access. I speak in past tense because I have just exchanged it for another Wagon R. Newer but no spring chicken and if it is as reliable as the last I will be more than happy. I think the last one has gone to the great garage in the sky due to undercarriage corrosion In the 13years I had it, it started first time every time except once and it turned out to be an electrical fault, other than that nothing .Performance, you get what the car is capable of, no more, no less.

Brilliant little car. I bought because the tax is cheaper and it cost £40 to fill it up.

It is too old car. But it never let me down on the road except ones. It was battery problems and I replace the battery. So it is a reliable car.

I chose the Wagon R+ because of it's upright driving position, clear all around view and because it was only slightly longer than the car I passed my test in. It's extremely roomy inside, with plenty of leg room for even a very tall person in the back. With the back seats down, I can (and have) got two large wheely bins in the back to go to the Tip, and can pack a huge amount of luggage into it. The car's height off the road does mean that it's got quite a high centre of gravity & turning round sharp corners is best undertaken at 15-20 mph or else it gives the impression of wanting to tip over. Petrol consumption isn't very good because it's an automatic and I drive mostly around town roads in moderately heavy traffic. On the motorway at 70mph it's very loud in the cabin, but it is 10 years old now. Overall I'm very fond of it and it's been an excellent first car.

This is my fourth Suzuki Wagon R+ and I am hanging on to it because Suzuki have stopped making them. For economy, reliability, ease of access and amount of storage space inside there is nothing else on the market like this type of car in it's price range.

Very happy with this car except on long jpourneys as no extra power if needed

Seating is comfortable and easy for disabled persons to get in and out of as the seats are high and there is very little floor well
