I have been driving this car now since 2004. In all that time it has only needed a few parts replacing, ie radiator. It has been on many a long journey and has always been reliable. It has ventured out in the snow and has got me to work when others in newer cars have been unable to make their journeys. It is easy to park. The only downside to this car is the bodywork. The paint is blistering and flaking off. I would love to pimp up this car, as I feel it has a few more years left. Well done to Toyota. The best money I ever spent.

I have owned this car for 3 years and covered 13000 miles, and apart from the annual service has needed no maintenance. The 1332cc engine is more than adequate for such a small car. The 3-speed automatic transmission is very good around town, but can be rather unpleasant in the 30-40mph range. It will cruise at 70mph, but sounds happiest in the 50-63mph range, above 63mph it sounds slightly over-revved. Typical fuel consumption is 33-38mpg. Leg room is limited, I am 5'11" and have the seat all the way back, which leaves no room for a rear passenger.

Brilliant car-so far has passed MOT with no work required-is a dream to own-hope it lasts for ever!
