I bought this vehicle as an ex-lease panel van. A firm in doncaster put two extra windows (privacy glass) & detachable rear seats. Having looked at several factory conversions, the self conversion left considerably more room in the vehicle for load and storage. I'm a singer in a band so the vehicle has to be my family 'car' as well as the gig wagon ! I've constructed detachable bulkeheads for that purpose for loading and unloading equipment. Alternatively, the vehicle can carry 6 people including the driver and all their luggage to the airport no problem !! Iv'e had this vehicle for 18 months now. Had 82,000 on the clock on purchase, currently up to 136,000. In that time, apart from consumables, only a power steeering pump & airflow sensor have been required. Because the vehicle was panel van conversion, I find the ride can be a bit stiff when the vehicle is empty but with a load on, it smooths out. The engine has plenty of power and the 6 speed gearbox is pretty slick, so far it starts first time every time (fingers crossed) and has been very reliable so far. Its done everything I've asked of it, regular trips over the pennines from Nottingham to Manchester or Liverpool with a full load are no problem. The North of Scotland to the tip of Cornwall in the same week without missing a beat !! The front wheel drive and traction control even seem to handle snow quite well !! Overall, a pretty good vehicle and I would probably buy another one based on the showing so far. A.R.
