Easy to get in and out of. Very useful as a 7 seater - when on holiday with our family we can use just the one car.

I own a new Zafira Tourer 1.4 Turbo. These superb vehicles were launched alongside the existing Zafira rather than to replace them (and were slightly more expensive). As a result they have not been well promoted and you do not see many on the roads compared to the ordinary Zafira models. However, I cannot praise the new Zafira Tourer highly enough. They have everything good taken from the existing Zafira in them, plus lots of little tweaks and extras that turn a great car into a brilliant one. The flexible seating is fantastic and readily accommodates 4, 5, 6 or 7 passengers in complete comfort. The 1.4 engine was a concern (since my previous ordinary Zafira had a 1.8) but the Turbo makes up for the reduced capacity big style - and I have the bonus of my road tax being in a lower price band. Any criticism that the existing Zafira had poor front left & right sight lines because of overly large windscreen pillars have been dismissed with the Tourer's panoramic windscreen. Even the one without built-in sunroof offers superb forward left & right sight lines - there are no blind spots. The only thing I missed out on was Bluetooth, but I am told it is available on certain models. A sheer joy to drive both long distance and in town. 5 *****

This is my 2nd Zafira. Previous one, from new, over 80,000 miles in 8 years. This one about seven thousand in 2 1/2 years. Bought this because of 100,000 mile Vauxhall warranty. Occasionally need the seating when visited by family. It needs a 6 speed gearbox to make it more economical on long journeys. The auxillary power outlet needs to be wired after the ignition as previous model. The orientation of 'Lock and Unlock buttons on key needs to revert to previous layout. Seats could be a bit more comfortable. Other than that, it is a pretty good car.

The only problem we ever have is that if it freezes, the brakes sieze and it won't move. We are lucky as our local mechanic just calls around and sorts it. But we do worry if he wasn't around when it happens

When I bought this Vauxhall it was three years old with a good service record which I kept up, This car has never let me down starts whatever the weather, comfortable to drive even long distances on holiday loaded to the roof plenty of room for passengers and luggage for its size I have found it very economical over the years and although considered upgrading I am reluctant to get rid of such a reliable vehicle, Easy to get in and out of even for older relatives. Taking everything into account a good all round vehicle The road tax is high for some reason, And some Vauxhall parts ie rear wiper blade are expensive, I found that going to my local Peugeot garage for servicing and any repairs more reasonable than Vauxhall dealership, have recommended to friends and family,

A versatile vehicle old but reliable spacious and comfortable to drive. Not the best on fuel consumption as opposed to the more modern engine gut not too bad. This is the first car in over 20 years that I haven't had fitted with a tow bar for my trailer as with the back seats forward the luggage space is amazing

more than happy - bought it 1 owner 3 years ago and maintainenance very low and seemingly very reliable and i find the versatility brilliant particularly when the 6 of us go off for our static caravan uk holidays together - we get a lot in and we are all generally comfortable

THIS IS MY 3RD zAFIRA WHICH I DRIVE FOR PERSONAL COMFORT HAVING A BACK PROBLEM AND FIND SMALLER CARS DIFFICULT TO GET IN AND OUT OF. DIESEL MODEL IS A LOT MORE EFFICIENT AND AN EASY DRIVE.

I have had it over 2yrs from new without any problems, I don't drive a lot but have done some long runs and it is comfortable and we have used it for caravan towing and it peformed well. The seven seats have been usefull to take the grandkids with us. The only small niggle is the view at some corners is restricted due to the pillars on either side of windscreen.

I love the Zafira, either for a family travelling together, or using it to transport large objects, amazing what fits inside when all the rear seats are down. Being only a 1600cc it doesn't have the power sometimes when needed, but it isn't very often that is a problem. It hasn't given us any problems as this is our 4th zafira.

I bought this car as I needed enough space for my german shepherd dog and still wanted enough seats for passengers. This car is fab for my needs, I put the rear 2 seats flat into the floor of the car and my dog has tons of space, and I still have enough seats for 5 people (incl me as the driver). Its a very comfortable ride and its really quite good on miles per tank (I usually get around 400 miles per tank). I couldnt afford a new car, so I bought this car secondhand in July 2012 and I couldnt be happier with it, it suits my needs perfectly !

Having bought this vehicle for the specific purpose of transporting our twin grandchildren I am happy that it serves the purpose adequately. It seems a bit underpowered for steep hills and banks, but having bought it new for £9000 net after dealer/manufacturer offers I think it represents good value.

The car is getting quite old but it is still very reliable hence my reason for not upgrading to a newer model. it is extremely useful for carrying large loads of shopping or for runs to the dump. The multiple ways of adjusting the back seats is also very good. One criticism I have is that the middle back seat only has a lap belt, although this has been addressed on the newer models.

Very practical and comfortable car, never required a repair. Performance satisfactory though fully laden going uphill may need to change down a gear or two so some drivers may want a more powerful engine in a vehicle of this size.

The alternator went at 3.5 years but Vauxhall paid 90%, very Impressed. Wasn't warned about the problems of DPFs.Had several problems which finally ended with the car needing a new Exhaust Gas Recirculation Valve. Not cheap. But it is fun to drive and is incredibly practical as well.

Great in most areas but why are Vauxhall so stingey that they don't provide an engine temperature gauge? How are you supposed to know when the engine has warmed up in the winter and how can you know when things are starting to go wrong with an overheating engine?

I am registered disabled and have this car on the Motability Scheme. It is a nice red colour, I am a Liverpool fan ! This is the 3rd Zafira I have had and I have found them all excellent with no problems whatsoever. It has taken some time however to get the hang of all the screen menus.

A good basic people carrier if a little on the small side for all adults. Quite comfy to drive with a good upright drivers seat. Easy to convert from 5 to 7 seats. The rear of the car with seats back seats forward to maximise the load space gives the impression that the load space is bigger than it really is. Reasonable economy and although the engine is only 1600 it has more than sufficient power for normal use. I am a bit disappointed with the paintwork. It is easily scratched an chipped and is difficult to touch in.

This is our family car - 2 adults and 3 children and is a great family car - reliable and spacious. The only faults I have found are the key fob is a bit unreliable and the fuse often goes on the windscreen wipers if the temperatures fall very low
