Used SEAT cars
Established in the 1950s, SEAT or Sociedad Espanola de Automoviles de Turismo, has been championing affordable city cars since its first model, the 1400. The Spanish brand went through a phase where it had a relationship with Fiat, and most of its models were rebranded Fiats. However, the relationship ended in 1982 with Volkswagen acquiring the brand.
Modern SEAT cars have come a long way, although it is mostly based on Volkswagen tech, engines and platform. The improvements of SEAT are most apparent in the Ibiza and the Leon; the brand’s two leading hatchback models. While originally playful and affordable, recent generations have developed sophistication and refinement which places them as rivals to those at the very top of their respective classes. Other popular SEAT models are the Alhambra, Arona, Ateca, etc.
As a used purchase, you can expect SEAT models to be competent cars, based on tried and tested platforms with design and driving dynamics to impress most buyers.
