2005 Ford Fiesta purchased two years ago as cheap car specifically to transport self to and from work. Have 'indulgence vehicle' in garage that I prefer not to use every day in rain etc. Previous good experience with Ford Ka determined choice of manufacturer. Criteria were low mileage, auto gearbox and high spec. model.Dealership vehicle was also high priority re Guarantees etc. This resulted in purchase of 1600cc Ford Fiesta Ghia with 19,000 miles on clock. previous Motability owner. Dealer removed all Motability kit i.e v sensitive brake servo and stering 'knob' attached to steering wheel. Car was and remains immaculate. No visible rust but some 'deterioration' on poor quality badging to boot door. has been utterly reliable. Has 'sailed through' MOT's -servicing costs both acceptable and affordable. Engine very 'gruff' but am pleasantly surprised by its 'energy' and resulting brisk performance. Interior leather and trim etc are wearing well. But interior is noisy when compared to Porsche and wifes Toyota iQ. Apart from servicing no money spent except for upgraded headlight bulbs and a set of winter tyres on a new set of wheels - due to go back onto vehicle around November time. Car is frequently driven 'hard' but whatever driving 'style' is adopted fuel consumption hovers around 30/31 mpg - rarely better than that even on long runs.which is, up til now, the only disappointment.

My Fiesta had not been used and parked on my drive for 12months, and was ready for the scrap yard,I decided to just start it up, can't believe it started straight away. I had an MOT done on it and have been driving for the last 6 months. The car is driving really well and I will be taxing it again this time for 12 months. Well done Ford

Delighted with every aspect of this car. My first automatic, and don't know why I ever chose manual boxes in the past. Fewer m p g compared to manual. Completely reliable so far, comfortable, and a pleasure to drive.

IT'S A VERY GOOD CAR TO DRIVE AND VERY COMFORTABLE, WENT TO CORNWALL IN AUGUST AND THE DRIVE THERE WAS VERY GOOD. I HAVE ALWAYS DRIVEN A FORD I LIKE THE THEM VERY MUCH AND THEY ARE VERY EASY TO LOOK AFTER, MY WIFE WOULD DISAGREE WITH THIS AS SHE LIKE'S SMALL CARS. MY NEXT CAR IF I DECIDE TO CHANGE THIS ONE ALL DEPENDS ON MY FINANCES.

I have been extremely happy with my Ford Fiesta which I bought from new with help from the scrappage scheme. The car is economical and easy to drive. The engine is only 1300cc but as it is light it still has good performance and speed. I have the car regularly serviced and have had no mechanical problems. The only thing I would change is the boot size, a bit too small for a family of 4.

Excellent middle of the range car. Lovely all rounder, suitable for lone driving to and from work, filling up with family on weekends, and long distance driving. Going to get another!

This is the third Ford Fiesta that I have had in the last five years. It's the best, and I am very proud to be it's owner. I never thouht I would say his about Ford. previiously over the perioid of15 years I had purchased three Volvo saloons.I changed to Ford because the running costs and servicing with Volvo got too expensive.

This is a nice car to drive. Fuel economy is reasonable. It is very inconvenient that there is no spare wheel supplied as standard, as we have had at least two breakdowns where the air cylinder supplied proved to be useless. We have also had a buzzing on the air con which we mentioned to the garage when we had it serviced. They fitted a new temperature sensor whilst under warranty, but it has started again and we were quoted around £130 to have another new one fitted. We are reluctant to replace it again as we feel it could be an ongoing problem. As pensioners we haven't got a bottomless pit of money!

This car is great for my job, driving lots of miles, good bootspace for size of car, great fuel economy (61-62mpg). A bit of a squeeze with children in the back.

Overall an excellent little package, generally it is used to carry two people and is perfectly sized, we don't need it to be a big car, rarely there has been four people in it but everyone was comfortable after a long journey. We have used it on a touring holiday to the South of France, where it coped with ease, aided by a bigger engine in a small car which has always been my preferred choice in a vehicle. The handling and grip are fantastic and is a real pleasure to drive. The car looks great in standard form but with factory option fitments of 17" alloy wheels etc it puts a smile on my face each time I look at it.

I am happy with this little car. It is comfortable and reliable. Passengers often comment on how much larger the inside of the vehicle feels, particularly the extra height on the passenger seat. I have been driving this car for seven months and at no time did I feel let down by the performance; started first time every time. I enjoy making telephone calls whilst driving using the blue tooth technology. The radio is also very clear. I chose white, which makes it look smart and classy.

A lovely little car that perfectly suits my needs with those extra little gadgets on titanium model. Only down side is the small boot.

I find this car excellent at road handling and comfort. The running costs are acceptable to me and I have no reason to doubt it'd reliability.
