Nothing fancy so it is a great work horse of a car, and does the job

Decent running costs, (parts, tyres, etc), and adequate performance for in-town and motorway travelling. Space internally is good for a hatchback but boot space is quickly taken up by kids buggy. Stereo is good enough and features such as hands free and voice control work well. Only real downside for me is the sitting arrangement for someone 6 ft plus, (I.e. gearstick quite far forward), might get uncomfortable on regular long journeys, (my commute to work is about an hour and a quarter each way).

My 2004 Ford Fiesta Encore has been a fantastic, reliable, good to own car. Easy and light to drive, easy to park. The issues I have had have been: water pump needed renewing; plastic door trims fell off on both sides - glue became unstuck. However, on the whole, it has been a trouble free car.

almost on her 10th birthday and she runs like new , she is well looked after serviced as required and all she has cost me are normal bills eg tyres brakes and a new headlight . she has plenty of space for 3 passengers to travel quite comfortably , and the boot is spacious with a large extra space available if the seats are dropped . All I all a little cracker and I hope to be running her for some time yet .

The main gripe I have with my 2008 Fiesta Mk7 (1st version of 'new' Fiesta) is that a lot of tyre noise is evident, compared with many other cars of a similar genre. I believe it is partly a result of fitting 'low' profile tyres (194/45) with over-size alloy rims (16"), although this appears not to be widely held view. I believe it is also partly owing to a 'tinny' build, with insufficient sound-deadening insulation applied. Even compared to my wife's 2007 Ford Fusion (with same engine, and similar purchase price), the Fiesta's doors sound tinny when shut, while the Fusion's give a satisfying 'thunk' when shut. It's a pity that Ford didn't invest in a little more sound insulation in this model. I haven't ridden in a newer Fiesta, so I don't know if this characteristic has been improved.

It's a cheap and reliable car the only downside is the price of tax which is 185.00 a year a lot for a small car

Slightly disappointed in fuel consumption . It is SIGNIFICANTLY less than I expected.

I have to say I have been very please with this car. It is very economical and for the size of engine the performance is good. I have Titanium X version and it is high tech which I find useful. The only thing that irritates me is the feature where by the engine will shut down when queuing in traffic. Sometimes this is appropriate/ok but on other occasions it is very irritating. I have not found a way to permanently switch this feature off, you have to do it every time you go out. There should be a permanent over ride switch.

I have found the Fiesta is fine. It has lived up to all the reviews I read before I bought.
