We have a fairly large single axle caravan for which the car was specifically bought to tow. We have found it excellent for this purpose. It is comfortable and a pleasure to drive and has all the features expected of a top of the range model (Titanium X)

Lack of ski hatch on rear seat disappointing on the hatchback model for diy use. Good size car & economical. Basically it does want it says on the tin!

Fabulous car does everything it says on the tin and more!Handling is fab, comfort level splendid and very spacious, have two large dogs and boot space is awesome! Getting 53 mpg which is great the only draw back is the road tax level at £170.

A very comfortable, spacious car, great on motorways. Has been very reliable and very economical considering it's size. The only negative aspect is that it is difficult to park in a supermarket for example as you can't see the front wing edges and it's difficult to manoeuvre in small spaces. Would i buy another? Yes I most certainly would.

Great Car but dont use it alot as it eats petrol. Performance is shocking for the size of the engine.

I love the comfort and realibilty of my car but the running costs are getting to be too much for me althought I have only done 52 thousand miles .

It is the third generation on Mondeos that I've owned and each has been better than the last in all respects. The current model is quite economical with the 6-speed manual gearbox and cruise control, is a wonderful load-carrier and has very good handling. My only regret was that it did not come with parking sensors as it is quite a large car to manoeuvre into tight spaces.

Car was bought with 16,000 miles for £13000 having driven a number of Mondeo company cars and needed powerful, comfortable well-equipped model for 200 mototway miles+ a day driving to & from work. The car was ideal and has been very reliable but has drawbacks 1. Fuel cost 2. Maintenance costs totalling around £10,000 over 9yrs including replacement short engine £6000 (used wrong oil) 3. Rust starting to show around base of windows. It's still a lovely car to drive (135,000m) and I don't want to change it but I'm now retired and don't need a large car. As I've 'invested' so much in it over the years and it still runs well, I'm loathe to change it. I'll probably keep it as long as possible as it is not worth much 2nd hand.

There are rather too many elecrtonic controls over which the owner has no control. probably true of all modern cars, but to only be told "Engine Malfunction" whena anything needs resetting is rather unhelpful. It can be a fliter in poor condition, or something catestrophic, so the simple message is unnecessary alarmist and happens too often for comfort. Each time, Ford dealers always have another explanation as to why it happens. It builds no confidence in the car trade.

the ford mondeo is a very comfortable family car with space for everything, passengers and lots of luggages. heavy to drive especially in town. The engine on mine feels a bit undersized, to go you will need at least 40 more bhp.

Lots of space but occasional electronics issues prevented car getting a higher score

I've had my 2 litre petrol automatic Mondeo six years and in that time it has never broken down. A minor fault that developed recently was easily fixed and allowed me to continue my journey. The car is comfortable, roomy, has more than adequate performance and does a very creditable number of miles to the gallon. It has 100,000 miles on the clock and still drives like new. In short, I'm very happy with the car.
