Honda Civic reviews

This is my third Honda civic 1.8. The 1.4 engine is under powered. I find the 1.8 great to drive, comfortable and functional and reliable The boot is large, good for a wheelchair. I would buy another with no hesitation, looking forward the the new model coming out next year, rather worried that 'Brexit ' will increase the price substantially.

The car is 11 years old (owned by me for the last 5) Have been delighted with it, the only expenses being service and MOT other than tyres etc. The best car I have personally owned

It does all that I need of it, and I like the hybrid technology.

A beautiful car my dream car

Owned from new. 38000 miles in nearly 4 years. VERY reliable. Seating configuration is superb and beats opposition hands down. Hard ride but handles well. Fun to drive. I-vtec engine responsive and fairly economical, particularly on long run. Having had Focus, Golf and A3 previously this is my preferred choice and I would certainly recommend Honda.

The 10 years old Civic has proved completely reliable and after the first year covering 20,000 miles I now only do around 3,000 p.a. Not the most economical car for short journeys but as mileage is low, not a major consideration. HOWEVER; annual service cost is always at least twice the basic service cost. For example, such things as timing belts which have to be replaced after a given time, are never quoted for in the basic service charge. As they must be replaced after a given interval then the cost should be quoted and not come as a surprise.

Lovely car, it is a pleasure to drive, looks sport with lots of space. A little noise on the front wheel which will need to be checked. The interior is full of information at a touch, the phone system is really good, with a little noise. Music sounds really nice.

Yes I have bought this car. We got a good deal from the garage. Good value for money. Its hard trying to find a car with automatic transmission as they are not popular, very sort after, and often dearer to buy. I find all Honda cars reliable. We still own an older model Honda Civic which is 18yrs old and still going strong! My neighbour also owns a Honda Civic which is 12yrs old, so we have confidence in the make and model and longevity of the make and model.

The Honda Civic is a average family car not a hot hatch. No excitement but it gets you from A to B. To date nothing major has gone wrong with this car. However due to its' age we've been looking a buying a newer car. My wife has commented that driving in the Honda Civic does not make her dizzy unlike some other cars we've driven in. The Honda Civic has a tendency to stall in cold weather first thing in the morning. The Honda Civic suits are needs with 2 children. The boot is spacious and just about wide enough for me to fit in my wooden Jo (staff) and Boken (wooden sword) in their carrier bag in the boot.

We bought this car as we couldn't get the baby pram in the old one. It has proved very useful. It has been reliable and comfortable and we've had no issues so far. It fits everything we need when traveling with the baby (just). And we also have some emergency items with us that are neatly stored. All in all, we're happy with our purchase.

Had a civic since 2005. Involved in a serious accident last year and it saved our lives. What more can I say!!
