We bought this as a second hand car about three years ago. We use it for shopping and running around in the city. But we have also done long motorway trips and single track roads in the Highlands, with two Labradors in the back. 50 mpg is quite usual. It has proved to be the ideal car in all these circumstances and I would replace it with another Jazz when our present one finally dies a death.

All-round great car for reliability & practicality

In my opinion you can't beat Japanese cars for reliability & trouble free motoring. The Jazz is very economical returning almost 50mpg even though I do a lot of short trips & urban driving. I bought it new & have now had it for nearly 7 years & done 45000 miles. So far, apart from two sets of front tyres & a new set of wiper blades, I have spent nothing more than annual servicing costs. It is versatile in that the back seats fold flat easily & give plenty of load space. The seats are comfortable & I enjoy driving it. My only criticism would be that the ride is a bit on the firm side when the road surface is poor.

Great car which has the addition of multiple positions for folding the rear seats making it very spacious if you have to transport large items. Great to drive and very comfortable.

Car is better if you use the flappy paddles/ gear stick to change gears more than automatic mode. Magic back seats are great ( loads of room for a small car).

Pleased with the car

Great little car, economical and good performance from the 1.4 petrol engine. Very spacious compared to other makes and the rear seats fold different ways adding to the car's flexibility.

This is my third Jazz. It suits me and I am likely to get another one next time

This model has sensors to assist with reversing. The Jazz is not a sporty model, you have to "wind it up" to accelerate but it's really easy to convert this car into a mini-van so space, practicality and reliabilty were the factors which persuaded me to go for a Jazz for the third time. Now retired, this model was second hand and just one year old. I didn't do much research on the vehicle before purchase and I was disappointed by the poorly designed and somewhat impracticable storage spaces around the dashboard; much less practicable than in the older model. The storage spaces on the front doors are larger but have an air space in the middle inviting items to fall out when the door is opened unless you're careful. The climate-management system may be quite energy-inefficient; I seem to be using up more fuel than I would have expected. As with most Hondas you don't get the smoothest of rides and the cabin can be quite noisy, especially so in windy conditions. Glass can mist up quite easily but so far the aircon and front winscreen heater seem to be effective in clearing the condensation quickly.

We bought the Jazz because of it's versatility - it's very easy to put the back seats down for carrying large loads, it's also possible to put either one-third or two-thirds of the back seats. It's a lovely car to drive and it's fairly economical on petrol, and wonderfully reliable. I'm very grateful to the salesman at the volvo dealership who told me to only buy a Japanese or German car (even though he lost a sale by doing so).

It is reliable, comfy, plenty of space and looks good too. I have not had to spend a penny on it other than two new tyres and the usual servicing costs.

I have my had car from new for over five years. It continues to be a superb all round performer. Comfort, flexibility, easy and fun to drive are coupled with dependability and economic fuel consumption.

Had 2 Honda CRVs and then when grand daughter arrived we decided to get a smaller more fuel efficient car as we would be travelling to see her. Chose a Honda Jazz and we are extremely pleased with it - nearly 60 miles to the gallon, nippy and comfortable to sit in. Would buy one again. Still like my CRV though

A good all-round car. Would prefer to have a spare wheel, rather than just a repair kit.

Have had the car for 10 months and find it is excellent and meets all my needs, especially as I am retired. It performs well on local journeys, (eg shopping) and also on longer motorway journeys. Overall petrol consumption since purchase is 42.5 miles/gal. It feels spacious inside for a small car and can take very bulky loads with rear seats down. Have a 3-yr maintenance contract which is good value and offered by local Honda dealer, which is an efficient organisation I have used in previous years. Criticisms: 1. Originally supplied with no spare wheel and was not happy about relying on the injection gadget, especially if stranded abroad. Have bought an emergency wheel. 2. In some positions the wheel spoke can temporarily hide the lighting and screen spray controls which are on a stick attached to the steering column. But this not serious.

Of all the cars I have driven the Jazz is the most comfortable. It has good safety features. The way the rear seats either fold up or down makes carrying objects easy. The average miles per gallon is the best I've had. I cannot fault it in any way.

good little runabout car, noisy tyres on journey, seating uncomfortable on journey, over 50 miles.
