The Honda Jazz is a very reliable and economical car. Its not a fast car. Can take bit of time to pick up speed at times. But feels very safe to drive. The all round disc brakes gives very good stopping power. The Jazz has very good visibility inside the car. It offers enormous amount of space considering its size. There is plenty of room in the back. The boot is bigger too. Very happy that I bought this car.

This is the best car I have ever had, when I collected in from the garage (it was 3yrs old) my husband was filling it up with petrol, when an AA man came over to us and asked why we had chosen that car. I said I could see out of the windows (I am 5ft) and I just liked the look of it. He then said, that in all his years as an AA man he had never ever had to deal with a Jazz as they were so reliable. For once I felt as if I had chosen the right car.

This car is just great. does everything I need it to do, is comfortable, carries plenty of luggage and is quite economical. It is the price of petrol that is so high which makes driving an expensive past time. It is a great car and I am very happy with it.

Fantastically versatile interior. 1200cc model doesn't have much power but makes a great little runaround. Seating can be moved in very efficient ways.e.g. can have a rear passenger but still have the other half seat folded down for extra load. Can't do that in my Mercedes estate. Generally does between 55 and 60mpg on a long run and averages 45mpg around town.

An excellent small car that is both extremely practical and very reliable.

Positives Overall a sound, reliable and comfortable car. Negatives Relatively poor turning circle Unable to check something as basic as speed without moving one's head. Running costs around town relatively expensive Cost of "genuine" accessories extortionate!

This is not a flash car, but offers total reliability and remarkable amount of room in a small space. It is for people who consider a car as a useful dependable tool for daily life and not a style statement. I can get into it and drive without any worries or discomfort and it packs an awful lot into a small boot for holidays.

Very pleased with our second Jazz

Smooth running, good mpg helpfully displayed;, comfortable enough and can carry 3 or even 4 children home from school with good driver access to window lock to stop the children messing about with them; occasional issues about electronic windows; and rather too often gets steamed up which can take a while to clear. Air con good in summer, heats up quite fast in winter. I love driving mine, whether for short or long journeys.

We've had our Honda Jazz for over 7 years. It has been utterly reliable and extremely adaptable. It wil take one to four people comforatbly , has completed short and (very) long journeys easily and rapidly and easily converts into a load carrier for garden rubbish etc for the tip. Easy to drive and park and really cheap to run. An excellent buy.

The Honda Jazz 1200cc is underpowered for the body weight but is otherwise a perfect car. I would buy a Jazz again but would get the 1400cc.

This is a reliable and relatively inexpensive car to run. For the size and type of car that this is I find myself unable to criticise it badly in any way.

This Jazz was to replace an older ('03) Civic (hate the new one!) - we wanted the reliability and practicality but not necessarily the performance. The Jazz is well made and very adaptable, albeit small, and has behaved very well so far. Fuel consumption since we bought it (an ex-demonstrator) is a remarkable 51 mpg, including towns, countryside and motorways. There is space for five - or lots of luggage - with its clever adaptable and reasonably comfortable seats. On the down side, the engine is OK in town and - oddly - on trunk roads, but struggles to maintain pace on twisty or hilly 'A' roads - not helped by the rather slow, notchy gearchange. Another unnecessarily irritating thing is the reflection of the dashboard sill (ie the flat plastic section above the dash) in strong sunlight - it is genuinely distracting. However, on the whole it lives up to its good reputation for reliability, practicality and overall quality. Just wish they still made the old Civic....

I have found the Honda Jazz so reliable and comfortable to drive. It's just that little bit higher off the ground so all round visibility is great! I'm retired and use the car for shopping, to get to my 2 volunteering jobs and my Pilates classes, and a tank of petrol will last me at least a fortnight. It's very roomy inside, which is handy for when I take my two grandsons to the beach in the summer months, what with all the paraphernalia that goes with that! Such a good all rounder!

One of the best models for this size of car

A nippy and versatile super mini. The folding 'magic seats' really are magic. I've managed to get two teenagers and a complete drum kit in the car (plus me), and it's proved a godsend when it comes to moving stuff around (bikes, pushchairs, the odd armchair etc) or taking bags to the dump. There's plenty of leg room in the back for adults, and although the rear split seats may be a bit firm for some, my passengers have sat on them on long motorway journeys without complaint. It's good around town - a tight turning circle and easy to park - and is just as happy batting down the motorway. I used to have an old Beetle which was noticeable sensitive to strong cross winds, or when coming out from behind a lorry. The Jazz probably isn't as heavy, but it doesn't seem as badly affected. Does around 50 mpg on long journeys and around 45mpg in town. The gear ratios are good, power steering responsive and all the dials and switches are where you expect them to be. I have it serviced by a Honda dealer each year and it's been relatively trouble-free, in spite of its age. The engine is quiet (when I first had it, I sometimes opened the window at traffic lights to check it was still running) although it can be a bit noisy when you get around 70mph - but that may be tyre noise and maybe not enough insulation. One small downside is the width of the corner pillar by the windscreen, which can impair visibility, especially at junctions or pedestrian crossings. You learn to look round it carefully and I believe the newer Jazzes have been redesigned so that this is less of a problem.

Rated the best car in it's class, the Honda Jazz is a very well built vehicle finished to a high standard.

Bought on recommendation from a friend. Have found it reliable during my 2year ownership but a little on the boring side. Not a great deal of leg rom in the front passenger seat fro my 6 foot plus spouse who always appears a little "hunched-up" Would have gone for a higher grade model had I thought a little more about it. I know I'm a granny but this car makes me feel a "Grannier Granny"
