Nice little car to drive about town I do not find this car to be noisy at all but the suspension could be a lot better nice to look at quite pleased with the car but bad bad suspension don

Got the car new from the factory. Not very good in snowy conditions, car will not allow you to start on gear 2. Not very good on hills, have to switch to semi auto mode regularly. Not very good for acceleration- likes to shoot up to 4/5000 revs before changing gear (without using kickdown). Not much space in the backseats. Besides that, is a great car for daily driving. Hasn't let me down yet, is a great first car.

Bought this car at 23000 from a kia dealer. Drove it myself for 7 years. At 86000 gave it to my son's girlfriend at the beginning of Covid. She has run it since then and now has 146000 on the clock. Original car except for usual tyres, brakes and battery. Serviced at 10000 miles by local guy.

I bought a new Picanto Auto in June 2021 from a dealer who forgot to tell me they were  giving up their Kia Franchise. The car I tested was not the year model I was presented with at time of collection. I have found that the ‘New auto gear box and 66 bhp engine just do not work together. I live in the South West of England, hills and narrow  lanes. I have to select manual shift to get up hills, when it will actually move. This car is sadly lovely to look at and the equipment is generally good, less of course the UVO support system onboard. This car should not be on sale, it is dangerous in hill driving and hill start situations. I have only 22 months before I can send it for scrap.

I’ve had my Picanto. Eco Dynamics, for 6 years and have not had one problem with it. I love the sun roof and the only reason I’m  changing it, to another Picanto of course, is I pick my little grandson up from school and as I have back problems, getting him into his car seat is a problem. I do like the look of the 3 door as it looks a little bit sporty. Great car.

I bought this car for just £200 over 3 years ago as a cheap runaround for town use. However, it has done a fair share of long motorway runs and happily cruises at 70 mph even up long inclines and is surprisingly quiet when on the motorway. Despite its very small boot, it is surprisingly practical. I have managed to get a king size bed and a chest of drawers from Ikea inside and I can (just) get 2.4 metre lengths of wood inside as well. It will carry lawnmowers, it helps that the front passenger seat tips forward assisting with the carriage of long loads. An excellent turning circle makes it ideal in town but potholes upset its composure and its narrow track mean that some speedbumps can be more annoying than they need to be. However, overall, it does all the grotty jobs well and at £93 per year to insure, I would not want to be without it. To date, it has done 107,000 miles and uses no oil, starts on the first touch of the key.

Great car and hope the low mileage ensures low maintenance. For the size of engine is a great little car and seems really economical No doubt will perform well and special finish means less cleaning inside and faster removal of water. Kia 2.5 years of warranty remaining gives great comfort

This was the worst car I have ever owned. Reliable and economical I'm sure, but even on smooth roads it magnified every tiny bump. Like riding over a permanent cattle grid. I just don't know how it can be said to have a smooth ride. And it is so noisy..... After ten miles of concrete suspension and roar, my little dog was howling, my head was aching and I had decided to get rid of it. Kept if for only a week. Do, please, check the comfort of the drive before you buy one....

Maybe not the snazziest car but for reliability and practicality you can' t beat it. Use it for short and long journeys. May not be the fastest but it gets there even wales and scotland from the south east. Amazing what can be crammed in for 2 week self catering summer holiday including child and 2 adults and still see out the back. Keep it well serviced and it will be a friend for years.

This is my fourth Kia Picanto and I rate it so highly. With a 7 year guarantee you cannot go wrong. There is no tax to pay and you get so much to the gallon when doing long or short distances. It is a wonderfully comfortable car and very spacious too. I have to say in 29 years of driving different cars, this one is the best.

The car is nice to run good on fuel but could do with a bit more comfort in the seats but would recomend it as a good car for the town and city

The car is not very nippy owing to the size of the engine you are very lucky to get into fifth gear

A nice small car that has been very reliable. Plenty of space for passengers with 5 doors. Seats fold flat to give plenty of luggage space for two, or can be split to give 3 seats and extra luggage space. Economical and yet nippy in traffic. Good turning circle for parking etc.

Good smaller family car

Have just bought my 2nd Picanto. Now retired it suits my needs very well.

I have owned my Kia Picanto for some 4 years and do about 7,500 a year - mainly local driving but sometimes a journey of 250 miles for a holiday. It is ideal for this type of use and I get approx. 45mpg average; tax at £30.00 a year and affordable insurance make it economic to run. It can carry 4 adults when needed - although not comfortably for long trips. Performance is good enough for my needs, parking is easy and I am well satisfied with this car.

IT DOES WHAT IT SAYS IT DOES AND DOES IT WELL, WELL BUILT COMFY HANDY TO USE .GOOD FUEL FIGUERS. NO PROBLES AT ALL FROM DAY ONE.

Got this car for work and it's been running for 5 years with 3 drivers without any major problem. The car almost reached 200000 km and still running great, with 50 mpg average The performance is not empressive but what do you expect from 1.1 50mpg entry level car?! Will upgrade to the 2015 1.25 picanto soon

I find my relatively small car very suitable for my purposes, as I only use it for short journeys, mainly shopping and socialising.

Being the second car in the family , my husband has a Seat Altea , there was no need to buy a big expensive car just one to do the shopping and going to see our daughter and her family who live locally.
