Was economical when purchased but lots of makers have now brought consumption down to similar levels with much more comfortable vehicles so the main reason for the purchase has now disappeared so my next purchase can come from a much wider field as the comfort leaves a lot to be desired not a car I would recommend

A good reliable car with plenty of room for rear seat passengers, fuel consumption is below what is expected from engine size but engine provides good overtaking performance. Internally the car is noisy from road noise. Seating is comfortable but drivers seat needs increased height adjustment. Car performs well.

I had the older version Note for 9 years and loved it, was worried that the new note would not live up to expectations how wrong was I, It feels even bigger inside if that's possible, it is so comfortable, the only slight disappointment for me was that the auto transmission didn't seem to pick up as well as the 1.6 but then I discovered the ECO button was on and just switched it off when I need that extra power problem solved. Built in Sat Nav is a bonus. If you are considering the note I would say don't hesitate great car for the money.

Good little around car, rear doors open to 90 degrees great for getting the grand kids in, plenty of room in the rear seats (unless you need the luggage area full, as you need to push the rear seats forward ) quite economical although a little under powered. Would be nice to have rear view mirrors that folded in on parking.

A basically good car to drive, comfort acceptable but suspension too soft on poor roads causing discomfort to the passenger. Bodywork feels poorly put together with worries over rattles as vehicle gets older. Door closing poor compared with other makes.

The Note has proved over the years to be very reliable, has a good driving position, easy to access for those of 'mature years', lots of room for rear seat pasengers, flexible boot space. Engine performance has been very satisfactory with acceptable fuel consumption. Only down side for me is that the suspension is a bit rigid.

I find the Nissan Note a comfortable and easy to drive car, with plenty of room for five people in relative comfort. With the seat down it makes a good load carrier, the downside is the 1.4 engine which is not the most eager and needs acceleration through the gears to make decent headway, which in turn can affect the running cost re fuel wise. On a long run though the overall MPG is not too bad and it drives well at the speed limits and it reasonably comfortable and quiet. Overall a good reliable car with few faults.

I acquired my vehicle as a second owner three years ago and my repair costs have outweighed my initial cost. The parts I have changed and repaired so far includes: Car boot door hatch, air conditioning, driver window wind up switch and just this week while driving the car stopped without any warning in the middle of the road, locked itself, the gear level couldn't move, key was stuck in the ignition. AA team could not diagnose the problem since the car was non responsive, they contacted Nissan team over the phone who reckoned the problem was gearbox had locked itself. The vehicle was towed to Nissan dealer garage, took them four days to diagnose and eventually reported the problem as main wiring harness costing £1800 but not definite solution. No need to pay such money without any guarantee and all inconveniences. So, it means scraping it off! and left without any car after all the repairs and replacements. Nissan, if you are aware of the manufacturer faults with this model, why not just recall them. It is not ethical for genuine customers like me to suffer like this. Before I bought this Nissan note, I had a Hyundai accent for 11 years and no issues at all, I thought I was upgrading little did I know I was degrading myself. I am happy to do all in my ability to bring awareness to innocent Nissan Note owners who might experience the same in the future or have but think it is their fault.

Excellent friendly service from Howard Roberts, Not pushy at all. Car appeared to be as described or better. Very clean inside and outside. After owning the car for only two days we are so far very satisfied. Drives well, very roomy and feels like less than the 21,000 miles recorded. The only hiccough one of the remote keys did not work but this is being fixed. The car was somewhat pricey for it's age. Very satisfied, Excellent service. Les and Edna Dawson.

Touch wood, it has never let me down thus far. On running costs it is OK, but not great, but not too bad either!!!!!!!!!!

The Note has enough head height for me to sit and drive comfortably. It fits in the garage at a tight squeeze. It comfortably carries my wife and me, shopping and bags for travel. A guest can be easily accommodated when needed. It has not broken down yet, but has had a battery replaced and sensors replaced. a bit of a shock, didn't know anything about sensors.

Comfortable drive. Quiet engine. Driving position adapts to accommodate most people.

This is my second Note and find them practical even if somewhat dated in technology these days (hence the new model out now). Driving position and seat comfort for me (with back problems) far outweigh any other difficulties. MPG is not as brilliant as more modern engines, but is adequate as I don't do high miles. Practical in load space and design, sitting slightly higher than an average saloon has many advantages. Sadly the new model has been lowered - a mistake in my view. All in all, not an exciting motor, but we don't all want that.

I have had my Note from new. It is fairly economical to run and has been very reliable. Interior space is good - particularly the rear seats.
