Nissan Pixo reviews

Just bought a 2010 Nissan Pixo, I'm really pleased with the all round performance. Its very nippy around Town, I haven't driven on the motorway but I'm sure it will keep up with traffic. Storage is limited but this is to be expected, it is a small car. No long runs to date but its comfortable certainly on short runs. In my opinion worth buying.

This little car was bought because of it's automatic transmission (easier to drive with arthritis) and it replaced my 12 year old Nissan Micra which only had three doors) I find it very manoeuvrable low on insurance and tax and am quite sad that Nissan have discontinued it.

I bought my car new in 2011 and it has served me well. I bought the car as I no longer drive on very long journeys so a small car is ideal for about town driving. The three cylinder engine is surprisingly lively and running costs are better. As with all new cars it took a little time to get used to the three cylinder engine when letting out the clutch and the correct amount of accelerator. the only problem has been connected to a recall to fit a new part in the fan control system other than that no problems

Although sold as a city car, the Pixo is great for longer distances too. It's only going uphill that you notice the lack of power. It's fun to drive and easy to park. This is essentially the same car as the Suzuki Alto, with only cosmetic .. I took it on holiday to Poland, and found that long journies were no problem. Having been built in India it copes with less than perfect conditions well. I usually get about 350 miles on a 30 litre tank of petrol,which isn't bad for a petrol engine.

Excellent value for me, a single driver doing a fairly low mileage. My son agrees it is ideal for me but says it would not be suitable for them as a family car with teenage children and dogs. Petrol consumption is really good and the service I get from my local Nissan dealer is second to none, they are always efficient, helpful and friendly and give a personal service.
