Toyota RAV4 reviews

Just purchased this vehicle today so only one moterway trip so far but extremely happy. Very quiet and comfortable ride. Managed 43mpg but suspect will do more once I figure out cruise control next time.

We had our last rav 4 for 10years just upgraded to a newer model , suberb handling and an excellent workhorse. Roomy enough for 4 adults to ride in comfort .

Very difficult trying to find a old basic car for my elderly father, one with age in good condition and reliable, a huge thankyou to alex motors they was amazing!!! would recommend them to anyone i will be returning to this garage in the future if we need anything else!!! cant recommend these people enough, they deserve to be in this buisness and to do well!!! xxxx

Very reliable and lovely to drive. Not cheap to run, but that's down to age. Would definitely go for a Rav4 again in the future.

The rav 4 is a great car in looks. Performance and space. If you have kids or single the car fulfills all needs and requirement.

Faultless. Runs well, responsive steering. Good in all conditions. Comfortavle and with a good set of extras like heated seats and mirrors. Electric folding mirrors. Ability to drive as fully automatic or as a manual .

The RAV is a comfortable family vehicle and is easy to live with. It has acceptable 4x4 abilities coping well with snow and muddy tracks and so able to handle the challenges that most owners will encounter. The heating and air conditioning systems are particularly good.

The RAV4 is safe, reliable, and has good all round visibility. The interior is flexible for transporting my family and their possessions to and from university.

My car is very reliable and great during the winter. It consumes petrol like it is going out of fashion though and the car tax is very expensive.

I am very happy with my Rav4. This is my second one, the first was a 3 doormodel and this is 5, including the door into the boot. It has good boot space and is very comfortable on a long journey.

Bought 2nd hand after a VW Passat estate; good all round comfort and performance, but some 'fiddling' design features, eg the battery cover and plastic turnscrews, that annoy me, and I miss the easy conversion to full flat floor space. I appreciate the 4x4 aspect though.

Brilliant car! Never gone wrong in thirteen years. I have a bad back, so find the height very comfortable. With careful packing , the car can hold a lot of stuff (two weeks camping equipment for example). Have recommended rav 4 to lots of people.

My second of these cars. The 2.2 is a great improvement with much better economy (48mpg). Spacious, reliable & comfortable.

I've had this car for almost 3 years. It had 31,000 miles and 2 previous owners and was in mint condition. It now has approaching 71,000 miles and regularly give 45+mpg. In 30 years of driving and owning cars, it is the most satisfying to drive, certainly over my last 4 vehicles. thi s is primarily based on comfort, and inherent feeling of safety/security/reliability.

a most reliable car especially in snow -the Ravs I have had never let me down

Very reliable car, but fuel consumption could be better i.e. 28 - 30mpg. 5 door model, but rear door only opens about 80%, thus it can awkward putting large things in the boot. Service charges are fixed and they are reasonable. Best thing about the car is the high seating postion when driving.

Have had 3 RAV4s over the last 4 years!!! All have been great cars and would probably say that they are the best I have ever driven( and I have driven lots over the years)!!!! Very worth trying.K DUF
