My car is admired by everyone who rides in it or uses it. I know nothing about maintenance, I do not even put in petrol and the car stands outside, gets only an annual service and is not well treated but it always starts first time and everything works. It will carry five passengers or a lot of goods. re: the question on engine size, I have no idea what that is and have entered a random figure to make the form complete.

Saving lots of money, helping reduce emissions, driving more efficiently.

As a chronic sufferer of lower back pain I find the Toyota range, and the Yaris in particular, suits me very well. The 3 Toyotas I've had have all been very reliable and the latest one is probably the best and most fuel efficient. I would not, and have not in the past, have any hesitation in recommending the Yaris to anyone else.

I've had this car for 8 years. I bought it second hand as my eldest boy was about to start learning to drive. Hence the small engine so once he and later his younger brother had passed their driving tests they wouldn't be able to go very fast! It's boot takes a lot of stuff (with the back seats up or down) - two adult road bikes, builders bags full of garden rubbish for the tip, eldest son plus two pals (all very tall) and camping kit for going to Rock Ness festival. I would probably go for another when replacing. It is mainly used for short journeys with the occasional longer journey about once a month. Mine is a 5 gear manual, although it does sound like it's missing a gear when driving on the motorway only negative comment.

Not a big car, quiet, comfortable. It suits us fine and we are not looking to replace soon.

Cheap to run. Approx 50 mpg. £110 road tax. Very reliable. Serviced by very good toyota dealers in York. Only downside is scratchy cheapish plastics on door trims. But apart from that would certainly buy another yaris but expect this one to last a long time yet before having to replace it.

I have recently purchased a new yaris excel 13/3/15 ; l am disappointed with the car due to the low profile tyres fitted to the car which creates excessive road noise and vibration; I would not have chosen this model if i known it was fitted with low profile tyres; build quality could be better; my previous model a yaris2012 tr was much better NB

This was my third Yaris after having an excellent experience with them for the past 13 years. I should have listened to the "alarm bells" when I realised the salesman was making misleading statements, but after 2 outstanding cars I went ahead and made a purchase. 6 months later after returning from a week holiday I discovered a flat battery. This fault recurred every time the car is left for a few days after taking the car in to investigate 3 times. Toyota tell my its my fault as I only drive about 8000 miles/ year and the car is not faulty. Ive recently sold it after only 2 and a half years. Im afraid I consider it not fit for purpose. So Bye Bye Toyota

I've had my Yaris for 3 years now and have clocked up 30,000 miles and the only things I have needed to buy for it are tyres and wiper blades...truly amazing considering my previous French car (Citroen) cost me a fortune in repairs! My next car will certainly be another Toyota, that's if I actually need another car! Very, very reliable is the Yaris :)

i am very happy with this car. It is the third Yaris I have owned, and it is the best. Performance suits me... my boy-racer days are done. The automatic gear box is very good. Running costs are very satisfying... I can get nearly 70mpg on a motorway, at an average of about 60mph and provided there are no hold-ups. I have found it totally reliable, but it is still fairly new. Space, etc is OK although I miss the cubby-holes and storage spaces of the last model.
