I bought this car as the seat was more comfortable than other cars, which have very low seats where your knees end up above your seat. But I have regretted it. I drove a VW Polo and it was nippy and engaging to drive. This car is sluggish. It has a problem with 2nd gear which comes and goes, and usually comes when you need a bit of power to overtake, or when you are slowing down for a junction and it will jump out and not engage, which is very annoying. Also the visibility is limited by the thick bars at the sides of the windows, and the bonnet just disappears so that you can't see the whole car from the drivers seat, which makes it hard to manoevre into tight spaces. I would like to change it for a more boxy shaped car which has better visibility, a more upright seat which would suit someone with backache, and a decent gear box.

This is the second Toyota Yaris I have had. Both cars stylish, reliable, economical & comfortable. like the five door one more for ease of putting items in the back. It does all I want and is easy to park. Comfort in the back seats may be a little less than expected but I have had no complaints from passengers. Would prefer a further 'separator' in the boot, like I had in my earlier model as it allowed one to hide items bought & was good use of the space - a minor gripe really. It is quiet & smooth running in all road & weather conditions. Very economical to run & always amazes me with its fuel economy. If I had to buy a car this is the one for me. It does all I want & I am very happy with it.

Whilst Toyota are not the cheapest cars on the market they are generally better built, more reliable and economical than others.

have only had my car a few months. I don't like the fact I cannot see the bonnet when in the correct position to drive, and 6 gears has taken getting used to. But it is a good car to drive and so far no real problems, except the running board is lower than my last car and the turning circle different so it is easy to get too close to a kerb.

This my third yaris and it keeps on improving from model to model. It always feel as though you are driving a larger car than you are because of the spaciousness. The customer services I have received from my local dealership is second to none and is very important to me.

I have had this car from new, its been serviced every year by main dealer, in 14years its cost me very little, one exhaust, one battery, one clutch and the usual tyres, brakes, wiper blades and bulbs and probabley a few minor things I've forgotten. I would like to change it for a younger car but my garage says for what I do mileage wise there is nothing wrong with it, its a good little car and reliable and I like the digtal speedo I think all cars should have them.

I waited ages for a small hybrid to be produced and have been very satisfied. I fill up less often than before, and love driving on battery knowing I am helping the environment. Well worth the extra cost.

Brilliant. This will probably be the last car I will own. My son is still at home and working but does not earn enough to be independent. We have shared a car for the last four years. When a saving matured I bought the car. It has to be reliable and cheap to run as I can't afford to run two cars. I strongly believe i made the right choice from the three makes I looked at.

My Yaris is slow to accelerate, so I always feel overwhelmed on motorways and unable to escape the slow lane.

I've had many Toyotas over the years and the Yaris is just as good as the others. It's very reliable and I will be keeping it for more years to come.

This is my second Yaris and it is just as reliable as the first. The parking camera is really useful. The one thing I miss is the option to slide the rear seats forward, creating more boot space. The rear seats don't fold completely flat on this model which is a bit annoying.

This is the only car I have ever owned and I am very happy with her. She has only broken down once in the 10 years I have had her, and that was due to wear and tear on the gears. She is reliable and has never let me down. She is easy to drive and very comfortable. She looks good and though she is getting old, she is still very stylish. I love my car and could not live without her.

I have had my Toyota Yaris T3 1.3vvti for over 10 years now and have done a huge amount of driving in it - near enough all over England, Scotland and Wales (hence the huge mileage) and it is still going strong. Good on long motorway journeys, amazing in the Scottish highlands and good in the city as well. It's economical, easy to park, has a low insurance group and super reliable! Awesome car.

Friends refer to my beloved Toyota Yaris as a rollerskate. Yet when they travel in the car they are surprised at the space it offers. I am able to park in small spaces, it is extremely reliable and is cheap to run. My favourite feature is the digital dashboard placed to the left of the steering wheel. Every year I look to upgrade to another Toyota, however, having had a reliable little car for 6 years I am reluctant to let it go for anything else!

It is totally reliable and a little workhorse. In 13 years it has never let me down. Despite its age it still averages over 46 miles per gallon. I hope it lives forever!

I have been in the motor trade for over 23 years having the advantage of company cars, mainly French models, so when i retired we bought a pre registered Peugeot 206 Est. When we decided to change again I just decided ,on a whim that I would go for a Toyoya, It was one of my best moves. It has been a pleasure to drive with superb reliability, & an excellent dealer network.
